I Subsonica fanno tappa con il nuovo "8 Tour", il 18 febbraio 2019 al Mediolanum Forum di Assago a Milano.
Videomapping a tema 8, proiezioni artistiche, e un mini-live: così i Subsonica in collegamento dalla loro sala prove torinese con i Navigli di Milano hanno annunciato, fra il grande entusiasmo del pubblico, l’attesissimo “8 TOUR”, il tour italiano organizzato da Vertigo, che li vedrà protagonisti nei palazzetti italiani
Durante la serata, presentata dal dj Lele Sacchi, la band ha interagito con il pubblico di Milano e con le persone collegate da casa, ricordando le news dei prossimi mesi quali le date dell’European reBoot2018, la tournée europea che, dal 4 al 19 dicembre, toccherà Amsterdam, Londra, Dublino, Zurigo, Parigi, Bruxelles, Colonia, Berlino e Monaco.
Grande sorpresa è stata la presentazione in anteprima assoluta del videoclip realizzato dal visionario Donato “milkyeyes” Sansone, di “Bottiglie Rotte”, il singolo inedito dei Subsonica disponibile da oggi in radio e in digitale. “Raccontiamo come sempre quello che vediamo, senza filtri o giudizi morali. - con queste parole la band descrive il singolo - Guardandoci intorno con l’ambizione di coinvolgere tutti, il più possibile, nella “lettura” delle cose del nostro tempo. Anche e soprattutto ballando”.
Il brano anticipa il nuovo album “8”, disco manifesto, che vede la band composta da Samuel, Max Casacci, Boosta, Ninja e Vicio tornare insieme dopo 4 anni per l’ottavo lavoro di inediti.

Lettera alla città.
Sabato 5 maggio è successa una cosa straordinaria.
I cittadini e i lavoratori dell’arte, dello spettacolo e della
conoscenza di Milano hanno aperto le porte a Macao, il nuovo centro per le arti della città.
Uno spazio desiderato da tante persone che, nel giro di qualche ora, hanno aderito attivamente e con entusiasmo alla costituzione di un nuovo territorio di linguaggi e di riflessione politica.
Nonostante la sua estensione, a Macao gli spazi sono gremiti dalla mattina alla sera da centinaia di cittadini che lavorano, si incontrano e si auto organizzano per formulare insieme ipotesi progettuali e riflessioni teoriche che possano dare lunga vita a questa torre.
Possiamo senz’altro dire che Macao abbia colto una necessità diffusa che serpeggiava in città, individuando interessi e bisogni non soddisfatti dagli spazi e le istituzioni culturali preesistenti.
Detto questo pensiamo che occorra tutelare questo processo da possibili minacce di sgombero.
L’assemblea di lavoratori di Macao intuisce nei gesti che ha compiuto un profonda legittimità da rispettare e da proteggere.
La questione di restituire questo luogo alla città va ben oltre gli aspetti proprietari e sappiamo che ci sono tante strade percorribili.
Il Comune di Milano ha pieni poteri per poter proteggere il nostro percorso come abbiamo riscontrato confrontandoci con grandi esperti di diritto e costituzionalisti.
Pensiamo che il Comune di questa città non debba rendere esecutivo lo sgombero bensì si debba mettere in ascolto di questa esperienza inedita, cogliendone le potenzialità, anche prendendosi un tempo per capire e formulare un nuovo vocabolario istituzionale e giuridico.
Questa è la vera partecipazione cui l’amministrazione deve mettersi al servizio, la nostra trasversalità e il numero strepitoso di soggetti competenti che stanno cooperando qui dentro, è un dato di fatto da cui non si può prescindere.
Crediamo che Milano farebbe così.
Questa sera ore 18 assemblea cittadina.

The streets of downtown West Chester exploded with excitement as hundreds of cyclists raced through this challenging circuit at speeds in excess of 35mph.
It’s the Iron Hill Twilight Criterium, one of the top pro races on the east coast!
The crowd cheered on national and local athletes as they pushed themselves to the limits of ability.

Adding importance to this year’s event is the fact that the West Chester event was the ninth race of ten in the USA CRITS Championship Series, making it one of the last opportunities for riders to protect or improve their standings before the final invitational.
The action begins and ends at the intersection of Gay and High Streets, home of the title sponsor Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant.
About the route
The Iron Hill Twilight Criterium is a 0.6-mile course over 8 city blocks on the streets of historic downtown West Chester, Pennsylvania, featuring four 90 degree turns and one short rise.
The Start/Finish Line is next to the Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant, the title sponsor, at the intersection of Gay and High Streets.
Photographer Dave Gill has been specialized in capturing key moments in bicycle racing for the better part of this decade, working extensively with Cyclingnews.com, Velonews.com, and Pezcyclingnews.com.
