It's a sad way to get a picture on Page 1, but someone stole the CBG chameleon right out of the biome! At least that's what they believe. The story says that a couple was seen sitting near the lizard. They went to the gift shop, bought a tote bag and returned to the chameleon, and that was the last CBG saw of it -- or them.
Let's hope those computer-generated spaces in the copy were fixed for final edition; I think we can assume they were. And let's hope that by some miracle this guy is returned. Was it a theft of a kidnapping?
He is 14 inches long and needs 80-degree temps to stay alive; it you see him hitch-hiking out of town, please call the botanincal garden.

During the Great War the Illustrated Chronicle published photographs of soldiers and sailors from Newcastle and the North East of England, which had been in the news. The photographs were sent in by relatives and give us a glimpse into the past.
The physical collection held by Newcastle Libraries comprises bound volumes of the newspaper from 1910 to 1925. We are keen to find out more about the people in the photographs. If you recognize anyone in the images and have any stories and information to add please comment below.
Finally had an image published it has taken some time to get the English version of it. I am so pleased that my image was selected for publication.
FARMERS INDEPENDENT WEEKLY March 30, 2006. MORE EFFICENT: Feeding on pasture puts roughly twice the nutrients back into the soil compared to applying a similar amount of manure with a mechanical spreader.

The Curly Girl Design website I built was featured in the August 2007 issue of HOW magazine.
Thankfully, it was sandwiched between two hideous ads. I appreciate that HOW.
This is a copy of a magazine article that was going to feature one of my pictures. The article in question was intended to appear in The Big Picture, which is the ‘in-house’ magazine for London based company RF Design.
Unfortunately the article wasn’t published, a heinous error that I put down to my photo being so good that it would completely overshadow the other articles in the said publication - that’s what I’ve been telling myself anyway. If anyone can be bothered, my original shot can be viewed here - www.flickr.com/photos/8672968@N02/599054860/in/set-721576...
Thanks to Abby at RF for writing and sending me the article, and for having such good taste in pictures!

Tom Smith – voce, chitarra, pianoforte, sintetizzatori
Russell Leetch – basso, chitarra acustica,
Edward Lay – batteria
Justin Lockey – chitarra, sintetizzatori
Elliott Williams – chitarra, pianoforte, sintetizzatori
Benjamin John Power – tastiere, sintetizzatori
