JUBA, 25 July 2023 – The UNMISS Child Protection Unit is holding a two-day training for women officers from South Sudan People’s Defense Force (SSPDF), the South Sudan National Police Service and other organized forces in the country’s capital, Juba.
Some 50 participants from Juba and 11 others drawn from across 10 states are building their capacity to recognize, prevent and respond to child rights violations and abuse in a timely manner as well as understand their roles and responsibilities as enshrined in the Comprehensive Action Plan.

This project is made using sustainable materials in order to claim environment protection, hoping to have a little influence to the world through this series of jewellery. The idea came from the endless killing of animals who's body parts have precious value. The action of pulling out the jewelley to wear is actually alluding the cutting process of the parts of these animals, such as the ivory of elephants, the shell of turtles, the beak of birds, and the fin of sharks.
