Toned cyanotype from my “Elegy” portfolio, which is about my journey of healing from my hysterectomy. I am happy to say that this print will be going to its new home soon. It’s such an incredible pleasure when someone is so moved by a piece of my art that he asks to buy it. Two sales in the past week... not too shabby! :-)

I’m over the moon that I got a 1st place in the Bi- weekly competition “the good hand “ at Greystones Camera Club.
It is very different from my usual work. I had this idea for quite a while & really wanted to try it. After a good hour of shooting hands and the jar, butterfly, I spent well over 8 hours making this picture what you see now. But in the end was well worth the effort.

The American Eagle Foundation works to protect our Eagle population. Dollywood houses Bald Eagles that have been injured or for some reason would not survive if returned to the wild. There is a "bird show" right next to the eagle enclosure. You can learn about all kinds of birds, many of them native to East Tennessee. It's located in Craftsmans Valley. Just follow the creek.
