SX-70, PX-680 Color Protection Formula (*08/12), no ND-filter, set all the way to "darken" | The story behind this: right before RoidWeek 2016 I had a closer look at my fridge and unearthed some really old films. I found a PX-70 made in 02/13 and just stuffed it in the camera and shot it all in one go -- only to discover later, that the photos were all so underexposed, they're mostly just black. I didn't have another PX-70, but I found a PX-680, so I shot it in the SX-70 without ND-filter and with the wheel set all the way to darken. They came out a bit bright and pinkish, but nice.

"S/N" is the aircraft's serial number. "L/N" is a Boeing code denoting what order the airframe came off the production line. "F/N" refers to an individual airline's fleet numbering system. Not all airlines use a fleet number; not all manufacturers use a line number.

Since Friday, up to 130 000 men, women and children have fled their homes northbound, seeking protection by the Turkish government as refugees. They top about 1 million Syrian refugees (according to the Turkish government) spread across the country since the start of the Syrian crisis three years ago.

I decided to pick up a little something for home protection, the M2 .50 Caliber Browning.
I'm probably going to have to mount this on the roof. ;)

Another beautiful sunny day, a great opportunity to take the camera down to West Dean Gardens near Chichester in West Sussex. The bees, wasps and butterflies (particularly the Cabbage Whites) were out in force.

In order to preserve beach, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans to add a new foundation of sand under the existing layer. Critics argue this would change color of beach, causing it to lose its appeal, November 1973
