a favorite prop from my store... love the colors

The prop control fork and hook are not properly securing the prop control allowing it to bounce up and down. If left in this condition the hole will wear out allowing the control cable to float in and out. This would cause loss of control of the prop governor.

The Gladstone Theatre has been a theatre for nearly 50 years, initially a truck garage, it was renovated into a theatre by the GCTC in 1983 and then again in 2007. The building started out as a cinderblock garage.

In 1982, Great Canadian Theatre Company converted it into a 230-seat theatre. In 2008, GCTC moved out into the Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre. The building was purchased by Steve Martin and Marilisa Granzotto, owners of a nearby Arthur Murray Dance Studio, and renovated at an approximate cost of CA$500,000. In 2011, Plosive Productions and SevenThirty Productions joined forces to take on the operation of the theatre. The partnership expanded to include shows by Black Sheep Theatre, Bear and Co., Same Day Theatre (in 2013), and Three Sisters Theatre Company (in 2014). In 2015, the theatre building was sold again, and a lease was signed to keep The Gladstone a theatre for years to come. In November 2016, The Gladstone Theatre Inc. was incorporated as a not-for-profit.

By this time, The Gladstone was regularly housing twelve stylistically diverse theatre companies, with more than 27,000 tickets sold per year. During the process of incorporation, five Resident Companies were named: four professional indie companies, and one community theatre company. The newly minted Resident Companies had to have produced at least three shows at The Gladstone, and to make a commitment to continue producing at least one show per year. These five inaugural Resident Companies were Bear & Co., Black Sheep Theatre, Phoenix Players, Plosive Productions, and Three Sisters Theatre Company. Currently, there are four resident companies: Plosive Productions, Three Sisters Theatre Company, Bear & Co., and Phoenix Players.

Her looks are inspired by the 'Gothic Lolita' style, with black, white and bright red clothing. Perona's usual hair style has it tied in two high pigtails with somewhat flower-shaped black and white hairpins, and she always wears a red crown with a cross on top.

Long abandoned, and on the verge of collapse, Tottie Hall was built in 1637. It was renamed Seacroft Grange by John Wilson who moved in 200 years later. By 1941 it had become a primary school, but it has been empty now for a long time. Although it is grade II listed, it is in a very bad way. Ceilings are missing, and beams hang precariously on the verge of collapse. The upstairs floors have long gone and in various places scaffolding props the rotting roof beams.

The original late 17th century carved staircase, once from Austhorpe Hall is believed to be in storage with the council.

Various plans for the place come and go, but Seacroft Grange stands derelict and empty.

A display of prop food & boxes displayed at the theatre school where I studied. This makes me so homesick I want to cry. I miss those days :<

Fun Fact: I made:

- fake sushi for my fake food lesson.

- a naginata for my fake weapon lesson

- an art deco jewelry box for my vintage box or container lesson

- pages from an illuminated manuscript about botany for my vintage document lesson

- I can't remember what else I made.

Fun Fact 2:

- When I was making the fake wasabi for my sushi out of polymer clay, I set it on fire in the toaster oven and it cleared out the prop shop. :)

Made an array of cardboard frame props for my upcoming shoot with On The Spot.

I used to love this game. There was one in the pub at the end of my street when I was a student, which really wasn't good.
