Oh dear - the situation has not improved overly much.
Well, maybe a little.
I (tearfully) switched from the 60mm macro to a 35mm that I rarely use.
Mr. Bear (not shown) was a lovely model as I played with various lenses and distances and the 35mm was the clear winner.
What I didn't play with was the location of flash and reflector vs exposure/aperture and such... and I clearly should have.
A project for another day.
