My neighbour has raised chickens for years. Their eggs are delicious!
Holland Chickens
In 1934, white eggs brought premium prices at market because it was believed that they had a better, more delicate flavor. Most of America’s eggs were produced by small farms at the time. Small farmers prefer dual-purpose chickens because they provide a source of meat as well as eggs. Because dual-purpose chicken breeds tend to lay brown eggs and white egg-laying breeds available at the time were light-weight and not well fleshed, this prompted Rutgers Breeding Farms to set about producing a dual-purpose breed that would lay white eggs. Thus, the Holland was created.
Hollands are great backyard chickens. They are calm, good foragers, and the hens will raise their own offspring. They are also great table birds and lay plenty of large eggs. You can also enjoy that they are helping to conserve what is likely the rarest living breed of American chicken.

“Happiness is like soap bubbles. It comes in small fragile doses, transparent and gentle, that you can’t catch, or hold forever. You have to learn to recognize the moment, to embrace it and when the bubble pops and the moment is over, to choose whether to remember it or not.
The miserable people are the ones who think that happiness is a permanent state. They waste half of their lives trying to find it, and the other half being disappointed that they can’t, while there are many little soap bubbles floating in the air around them, but they don’t ever see them.”

The Tale of the Bremen Town Musicians
A fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm
The story of the Bremen Town Musicians tells of four rejected animals (a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster), who are no longer useful to their owners and are therefore to be killed. Each animal manages to escape, but does not know what to do next. Because the animals think they can sing well, the donkey comes up with the idea of moving to Bremen to live as street musicians.
On the way, they stay in a forest and come across a robbers' den. By standing on each other and each making their own animal sound, they frighten the robbers and are able to take possession of the house. They enjoy the food and drink that the robbers have left behind and spend the night in the house. At night, one of the robbers returns. They manage to scare him off for good by each using their own strength. The gang of robbers then think that it is haunted and leave the house for good. The animals decide to stay in the house as a new Family.
The End.
