Prompt in DALL-E
Enhance the image of a historical book titled "Old Paris - The Seine". The book is open with elaborate and intricate 3D images springing out from the pages, vividly depicting scenes of the Seine in old Paris, with rich details and textures. The emerging images are surrounded by a denser mist, contributing to a mysterious and enchanting atmosphere. The background is dark and moody, contrasting with the bright, lifelike 3D illustrations. The ultra-realistic overall composition is replete with fine details that offer an immersive glimpse into the historical life by the Seine.

Prompt: My Voice
I know you can't see it but this has at least 12 layers of paint on it... I started with a print off of all the words from the 'Mom Song' by Anita Renfroe

If you've ever heard the
Mom Song by Anita Renfroe you
know how my day goes with 4 boyz,
2 dogs, a bunny, a fish and a fiancee who's
schedule that leaves me Solo-Parenting about 98% of the time. It's no wonder
MY VOICE becomes WHITE NOISE and
I'm left frustrated and SEEING COLORS!
Mom Song Lyrics:
Get up now
Get up now
Get up out of bed
Wash your face
Brush your teeth
Comb your sleepy head
Here's your clothes
And your shoes
Hear the words I said
Get up now
Get up and make your bed
Are you hot?
Are you cold?
Are you wearing that?
Where's your books and your lunch and your homework at?
Grab your coat and your gloves and your scarf and hat
Don't forget you gotta feed the cat
Eat your breakfast
The experts tell us it's the most important meal of all
Take your vitamins so you will grow up one day to be big and tall
Please remember the orthodon'tist will be seeing you at three today?
Don't forget your piano lesson is this afternoon
So you must play
Don't shovel
Chew slowly
But hurry
The bus is here
Be careful
Come back here
Did you wash behind your ears?
Play outside
Don't play rough
Would you just play fair?
Be polite
Make a friend
Don't forget to share
Work it out
Wait your turn
Never take a dare
Get along
Don't make me come down there
Clean your room
Fold your clothes
Put your stuff away
Make your bed
Do it now
Do we have all day?
Were you born in a barn?
Would you like some hay
Can you even hear a word I say?
Answer the phone
Get Off the phone
Don't sit so close
Turn it down
No texting at the table
No more computer time tonight
Your iPod's my iPod if you don't listen up
Where you going and with whom and what time do you think you're coming home?
Saying thank you, please, excuse me
Makes you welcome everywhere you roam
You'll appreciate my wisdom
Someday when you're older and you're grown
Can't wait 'til you have a couple little children of your own
You'll thank me for the counsel I gave you so willingly
But right now
I thank you NOT to roll your eyes at me
Close your mouth when you chew
Would appreciate
Take a bite
Maybe two
Of the stuff you hate
Use your fork
Do not you burp
Or I'll set you straight
Eat the food I put upon your plate
Get an A, Get the door
Don't get smart with me
Get a Grip
Get in here I'll count to 3
Get a job
Get a life
Get a PhD
Get a dose of...
I don't care who started it
You're grounded until your 36
Get your story straight
And tell the truth for once for heaven's sake
And if all your friends jumped off a cliff
Would you jump too?
If I've said it once, I've said at least a thousand times before that
You're too old to act this way
It must be your father's DNA
Look at me when I am talking
Stand up straight when you walk
A place for everything
And everything must be in place
Stop crying or I'll give you something real to cry about
Oh!
Brush your teeth
Wash your face
Get your PJs on
Get in bed
Get a hug
Say a prayer with Mom
Don't forget
I love you
**KISS**
And tomorrow we will do this all again because a mom's work never ends
You don't need the reason why
Because
Because
Because
Because
I said so
I said so
I said so
I said so
I'm the Mom
The mom
The mom
The mom
The mom

For this prompt I could only imagine how an egg would look like when lightened with a flashlight. Had some fun creating this photo.
This is an egg from our chickens. The second one I used. The kitchen table isn't standing straight because the house is leaning to one side. So I had some difficulty to keep the egg on the table. Finally I managed to position the egg on the table.
Took some shots, had a look at the display on my camera and when I looked through the viewfinder again I searched for the egg but the egg was missing. Imagining that this all happened in total darkness.
I am not sure if I am happy with this photo. The color of the egg and the blue-ish light of the flashlight don't go well together I think. And the egg doesn't look very inviting.

Prompt #23 from Janel of "Run with Scissors" Journal prompts
Journal Prompt 23: Today I want you to fill an entire page in your journal with one of the elements of art. As an art teacher, I have to talk about all of the elements of art...daily.
Here they are:
1. Line
2. Color
3. Shape
4. Space
5. Texture
6. Form
I think this sort of has all of them in it.
Day two of Picture the Holidays (http://www.bigpictureclasses.com/pictureholidays.php) and the prompt for today is "reframing", to find time in the hectic pre-Christmas time to enjoy it and calm down. I couldn't live without books and there's no day when I don't read but in winter, I especially love to get up really early on Sunday mornings, when the world around me is still asleep. I love that calming feeling of being the only person awake and having the world to myself. I love to spend the time reading one of my favourite books in those early wintry, snowy, calm mornings and drink a nice cup of tea.
It has also become a bit of a tradition for me to re-read a favourite book in the time before Christmas. This year, I'm re-reading Peter Hoeg's "Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow". For a winter and snow lover, the absolute perfect book! :-) I have three different copies of this book, all of which are in the picture. The one I'm reading at the moment is the one on top.
I'm going to the mountains tomorrow morning for a long weekend (masses of snow :-) ) and I won't be able to post anything for Picture the Holidays, neither here nor in the class gallery, until Tuesday, but I hope I'll manage to keep up :-).

This week we were to have someone else draw in our planner and then add to it. My mom drew this wonderful chair. I colored it in and added a plant and rug. drawdaily.blogspot.com/2014/03/invite-someone-else-to-dra...

What's Prompt Dog's favorite command? Why, dig of course, Dog loves nothing more than rooting up IP addresses and bringing them to his master!
I adored Vivienne's pic for this prompt (in front of the graffiti wall)!! This prompt invoked major resistance...and I took 101 pics that just didn't feel right. I settled on this one...because it's the way I claim my space most easily...painting. So here I am in my studio right now...hands all deliciously messy...claiming my space.
PROMPT:
Bedouin camp - The sun's first morning rays appear - the stars are clearly visible in the sky and in the dark you can see the milky way in the sky. The camels stand quite close, it is very cold - it evaporates from their bodies. Everything is only siluettes. The sky is beautiful with the visible Milky Way. I prefers using caramel, and also considers flint, pebble, white, corn and 'muted colors'. Please draw inspiration from the styles of H.R. Giger, as well as abstract expressionism. Each image should be of high quality and suitable for international art magazines. I would like images, each unique yet faithful to your aesthetics.
