I almost forgot to take a picture today! Whoops

It's been two years now since I learned how to fold these roses over in rural China. Sadly, I haven't been able to contact any of the friends I made there, since Chinese people don't use Facebook and since I can't understand anything on the Chinese networking websites LOL. Lots of memories associated with these pieces of paper..

new year, new projects.

My project: green & white for the bedroom.

I chose the wrong time to walk to the library from my office this lunchtime. Just as I got out onto the street the Victoria University Graduation Parade was going by. It took me ages to get through the crowds of people lining the street, cheering on and photographing their loved ones.

This week's projects are ready for action. Our new on-the-wall project management system works great! As one project is sent out for approval, it shifts to a new spot on the wall. As a new project is begun.... As a project is completed.... All of the projects enjoy dancing along our wall from the beginning of the project until a grand finale.

...it's great!

So it looks like Sundays will be hump days for this project. Hands down the most boring and uninspiring day of the week. I feel so lazy..

Apparently, i failed to post daily foto for the past two days. Here I start again. Day 3 : this is what I have for dinner mr.pacman pizza. Although papa johns isn't my fav pizza, they have a good deal by far. It is $10 for large pizza with 7 choices of toppings. Better ingredient Better Pizza ...Lily's Pizza =p

Last picture of the year! My photo buddies and I. It has been a great year, have learned tons, enjoyed the whole experience and am a little sad that we are done. Actually can't believe we are finis. Happy New Year!!

The paint color in the office is toasted cashew. Ignore the messy floor. I haven't cleaned it up yet.

I want to shoot apathy.

Creative Project series.

In this project I learned how different apertures change the depth of field. I also learned how to balance out the shutter speed and the aperture for the perfect exposure. The first picture has shallow depth of field because i changed the aperture to 4.0 which made it blurry in the background but the foreground subject is in focus. The second picture is in between shallow and great depth of field because i set the aperture to 11 which made the background not as blurry as the first and the foreground subject is still in focus. The third picture has a great depth of field because i set the aperture to 22 which made the background and the foreground in focus. I took these pictures because I knew that the plant would make a great foreground subject and the plants in the back would make a great background for shallow and great depths of field. Overall, I had a great time with this project.

Feeling a little rough. My wife and youngest child were making fun of my hair. I see nothing wrong myself.
