Geocaching. A cache rated at 1.5 terrain one should not need to climb a tree to reach it. The clue says it is 'at head height'. Whose head, a blooming giant?

I wanted the top of the quilt to look like the paint pouring in. The blue and green ribbons swirl around it, mixing up the colors.
This guy was very high and far away, so a pretty heavily cropped photo but just had to share my great sightings on what I thought was going to be a come up dry day as far as wildlife goes.

Like the most other models of my Project Ginger, I met Edvard at the metro station Christianshavn in Copenhagen. Somehow, this is the spot where all the gingers spawn. :D
It was very funny to photograph Edvard as he after a while explained that he was a photographer, too, and we exchanged websites and photography plans.
Check out his website: www.blikfanget.dk
We went to the Ghazipur school to make panels for an advocacy quilt with the students in Chintan's No Child in Trash Program. The pieces of fabric were bought from a waste-picker community in Badapour, and consisted of mostly discarded clothes. These clothes were cut into rough squares and given to the children to draw a picture about their life. The panels will be assembled and used as part of an advocacy quilt! I have always wanted to go into this shop. Looks french (hence the name) but it stands in Bucks. I pass it everyday on the journey to work and one day I will definately go in.

Project Be is the superimposition many profound political statements over an abandoned 700-unit apartment complex in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans. Co-ordinated largely by local artist Brandon Odums, it represents the work of dozens of artists. Their work covers the faces of several buildings and every surface of the abandoned apartments in those buildings. Honored are Malcolm X, Huey Newton, Angela Davis, and many other public figures.
Congratulations to the May OrigArmy winner; Juan David Rodriguez Sandoval, with his entry '"Somewhere Beyond the Sea."
From September 4th - 6th, 2013, project forwarders and breakbulk charterers from all over the work met in Jakarta, Indonesia, for the Project Cargo Nexus Southeast Asia 2013 Conference. The event was supported by XLProjects Network and InterMarine, who gave a keynote presentation on their services. There were representatives from four continents present ranging from project forwarders to vessel owners. Really good contacts were made over the three days and lots of project business was discussed with many instances of rate requests even while still at the meeting! The conference was held in the JW Marriott Hotel in Jakarta. The next such event will be Project Cargo Nexus Africa 2013 which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, in November 27th - 29th. Details for this event are available on our website:
projectcargonexus.net/africa-2013
While at the conference we also announced that Project Cargo Nexus Southeast Asia 2014 will be in Yangon, Myanmar, at the Chatrium Hotel.

Ein dokumentarisch-fiktiver Abend über Identität
In Anlehnung an «The DNA-Project» der Künstlerin Marina Belobrovaja

The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.
