The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining omes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.
Project: Dark Winter
Location: Klooster Mariënhage
In her multi-disciplinary artistic practice, including installations, performances and sculptures, photographs and videos, Rebecca Belmore addresses the embodiment of meaning and sense in the interplay of physical presence and symbolic representation in contemporary societies. In her augmented materiality she evokes narrative dimensions which resonate as an outstanding time- and politics critical potential.
Eindhoven is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, it was granted its town charter in 1232. Almost a hundred years older and part of the early settlements of the city is the castle “Ten Hage”, what later was transformed into a convent.
Approaching the Mariënhage complex from the Tramstraat, Rebecca Belmore’s site- and time-specific intervention inhabits the garden next to the Paterskerk. By framing architectural remains with white pebbles and highlighting with bright white light and its reflections, she stages the environment in self-reference to its changes through history.

In this project I made this business card back and front. I made this one in particular because I made it for myself and I like the color scheme I used.
A small project consisting of setting up a shoot with random passersby and getting them to pull a face.
All participants where informed of the project and asked if they wanted to be a part. To see the rest of the project you can visit cambrils.tumblr.com/
Lighting is provided by a softbox umbrella camera right and a bare strobe for hair light.
A little project I'm trying to do this summer :) Don't know if I'm gonna manage to do all of the days due to limited Internet access.
And yeah.. I forgot my flash. Otherwise I would've managed to balance out the shadows on the troll.
Sunday was filled with shaping aluminum plate to make the ignition switch plate, tach mount, and fuse block plate.
the butterfly project:
1. When you feel like you want to cut, take a marker, pen, or sharpies and draw a butterfly on your arm or hand.
2. Name the butterfly after a loved one, or someone that really wants you to get better.
3. You must let the butterfly fade naturally. NO scrubbing it off.
4. If you cut before the butterfly is gone, you've killed it. If you dont cut, it lives.
5. If you have more than one butterfly, cutting kills all of them.
6. Another person may draw them on you. These butterflies are extra special. Take good care of them.
7. Even if you don't cut, feel free to draw a butterfly anyways, to show your support. If you do this, name it after someone you know that cuts or is suffering right now, and tell them. It could help. =]

"Project 7 is a single-seater sports car based on the F-TYPE, with the kind of racing-inspired form that designers dream about. It has one purpose: to be driven fast and enjoyed.Jaguar sports cars are known for exceptional performance and clean design. Project 7 captures that spirit in its purest form."

By the end of the century, sub-alpine meadows could shrink up to 27 percent at Mount Rainier National Park and disappear entirely at North Cascades National Park. To understand the effects of climate change on pollinators and protect our sub-alpine meadows, the Cascades Butterfly Project will be monitoring three sites in North Cascades National Park, two in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, and four in Mount Rainier National Park.

Manhattan Project National Historical Park is America's longest national park unit, with three scattered units in Oak Ridge (Tennessee), Los Alamos (New Mexico), and Hanford (Washington).
The previous record was held by Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, with three sites in and around Skagway (Alaska) and a fourth in Seattle (Washington).
project runway 6 is back — already! Sure, Season 6, the first season to air on Lifetime, just ended with strong ratings, but the network has announced the 16 designers who will compete on the show's seventh season.
project runway 6: Irina talks about her mean girl image and what's next
The designers range in age from 21 to 47 and are from all over the U.S. and from countries including China, the Philippines and the Dominican Republic. Interestingly, none of the contestants are from New York or Los Angeles, a Project Runway first.
The new season of Runway returns to New York City, where the designers will eat, sleep and breathe fashion in the Parsons workroom. Heidi Klum will host, Tim Gunn returns as the contestants' mentor, and Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia will sit on the judging panel. The whole family back together again!
