15 / 50 : Cleopatra
Meet CLEOPATRA.
Hey, you, back there, what are you whispering? Are you saying it doesn't look like Cleopatra at all?!
Hold your horses then, because there might have been a slight misunderstanding...
"Cleopatra" is the name that the freaky fellows down at the weather forecasts centre gave to the cyclone that hit Rome today.
Yesterday all news report were calling out for maximum alert, telling people NOT TO LEAVE THEIR HOUSES UNLESS IT WAS EXTREMELY NECESSARY...
Well, it turned out to be a pretty damn mild rain. Nothing more...
But you know, if someone tells you that tomorrow you won't be able to leave your house and, on top of that, it makes it sound like some sort of apocalyptic weather phenomenon... Well, you simply PLAN on staying in for the day.
And you do even if it's not that much of a big deal.
So I had this shot in mind for the day and I didn't let the "normal" weather get in the way.
This is Henry-The-Roommate® in his first appearence in this project and the rainy night he's taking cover from is a sophisticated disguise : I trow some water on the windows, had him shower, gave him a towel and placed a flash outside in the street.
Fifteen done, JUST 35 to go!

“…Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?” Matthew 6:26, 27
Worry…we all do it; especially us moms. And yet I have heard it said that 90% of our worries never come to anything. It’s hard not to worry, life is out of our control and it can change in an instant. But worry can paralyze us and keep us from experiencing the fullness of life. Or as a mother our worries for our kids can hold them back and that’s wrong. It all comes down to trust…do we trust that God is ultimately in control and that no matter what comes our way whether it be good or bad He’ll be there for us. Over the years I’ve taught our kids that there are no “what ifs” embrace life as it comes, don’t waste time on the “what ifs.” Be prepared in life…yes, but don’t get caught up in something that hasn’t even happened and may never happen. We can take comfort in the above verse, knowing that we have a God who cares deeply for us.
I went back and added different effects to these photos. I think I like this look better. I wanted to do a series of people crying. I thought this was important because people see crying as something to be ashamed of. I wish we didn't see it this way. Crying reminds us that we are human, that we are not invincible. It sometimes brings us down to Earth and gives us a reality check. Crying is also important because it helps us let go. It helps us release feelings and stress. I don't think something so important should be considered a shameful action.

I interview them and writing a blog on my website about it. im starting the shoot with really business dressed clothes and then showing what's under their clothes. Im also want to photograph people with scars to let the world and insecure people see that its like a beautiful gift. you wearing it like jewelry and behind every scar there's a story. im doing this because I have a lot of scars and im accepting it but a lot op people don't, I want to help them Follow me for the tattoo pics! it amazing! :)

I enjoyed watching the short lived "Starcom in the late 80's early 90's. I've wanted to build something along the lines of the Starmax Bomber for a while, and here are the results.
The front cockpit and pilot seating position isn't too good, due to the landing strut being right below.Overall this has a sleeker look than the cartoon and is missing a few of the features of the real one, but it was a fun build.
SpirosK is the wonderful photographer for this henna project, and Danai Gourd the marvellous model. We shot in an abandoned hotel in the mountains north of Athens, Greece. The hotel was really moody, surreal, post-apocalyptic fairy in a mad maxish setting. This was one of the most fun projects I have worked on with a great crew - assistants, make up artists, everyone gave 110% of their energy to do this.
Henna was a challenge for me, not my normal style. Tried to make it thorny, not too flowery, tribally, but not too tribal, and the raggedy faerie wings were accented with water color pencil.
The cast and crew are:
Spiros K. = Photographer
Kree Arvanitas = Henna artist
Danai Gourd = Model
Jennifer Rage = Makeup Artist
Magdalini = Artist Assistant
Anastasia = Model Assistant
Half black and half white. That is the color of my step-daughter's new
kitty she got for her birthday and only half of her gift. She came home to a trampoline in the backyard as well. And I confess, the kitty is a gift for the whole family. Her name is Mya and we are in love. :-)

The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining omes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.

Never too old for a toy! This is a bit hard to fly, but I will get the hang of it. Doing another 365 photo project, had no passion for photography last year, hope this project will rekindle my creativeness.
