Using the projector with Winamp's Milkdrop visualizer. My friend was gracious enough to pose for me.

On the left: Aiptek V10 PMP Pico Projector. Battery-powered mini projector plays movies from an SD card, using an LED to project a pic up to 50in on the wall. Imagine one of these little guys in your cell phone or mini laptop...
On the right: Carbon Butterfly RC Plane. A remote-controlled airplane lighter than a piece of notebook paper!
This is the original Ziess Planetarium Projector that was replaced by the new state-of-the-art model when the Observatory re-opened.
It is around 8 feet tall, probably weighs several thousand pounds, and is an absolutely amazing piece of machinery. Excuse my indulgence in a 5-shot series of the contraption, but I was in awe of it.

Mike's home made theater. The projector is made from an LCD monitor screen laid over an overhead projector with many modifications... Its hard to take a picture of a darkened room and a projected film.

I have since discarded this series based on the cliche of projected images.
