A hinge supporting the wood backing is held in place by a sliding window lock. This allows me the control and finesse needed to angle the projector but strength needed to hold it.

In Haridwar, with 4 hours until our train, we went to the cinema to watch "The Mummy 3" in Hindi. After the film ended, the lights came on and we finally saw the ancient cinema in which we were seated. Everyone had left, but we remained taking pictures. A man approached us, asking what we were doing. He was "The Projectionist", and along with the "Ticket Man" and the 70 year old guy called "Security Man", they ran the cinema.
They took us upstairs to the projection room, which contained two massive, solid iron projectors dating back to 1927 and made in Chicago. We took a series of portraits of the employees of "Chitra Talkies" which they enthusiastically posed for.
