Last night it hit me: my projector doubles as an incredible lighting tool. All I had to do was bump up the ISO and the shutter speed and these are all perfect SOOC.

The color comes from the projector light which appears white to the human eye but looks like this when captured at 1/3200 of a second.

This was an old projector in my high school classroom so I drew it with charcoal. Its about 3 or 4 feet wide.

My grandfathers 8mm projector. It has been stored in a closet for the past 25 years.

This machine gave us a lot of laughs....

There was an exhibition at the Kyoto museum on Film and Japans film influences. They had some wicked stuff on display including this projector.
