AIPTEK LZ-Z20 Portable Projector with Camera and 2.4 Inch Screen Support TV HD 720P Laptop Projector
finally came! But it's so hard to take pictures in such low light. I'm gonna disassemble it to bring it home with me next week, it should be easier to use it at home.

I found this strange projector in an alley by a museum in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. It was there for aesthetics as opposed to function.
retrofitting some simple control circuitry so that I can turn on and off the projector, advance and reverse slides with a microprocessor.

Home-made battery powered Wii sensor bar - made from old TV remote LEDs and a few resistors and a 9V battery on a plastic chassis I got from the trash. There's a hard drive magnet on the back to attach it to the screen.
