Due to some police activity, we had to take this detour to get home. A great chance to take a quick shot while waiting for the light to change. This is one of my favorite diners in the area for a hearty breakfast.
Notice the numerous boxes of tissues...he feels more secure with multiples.
This was taken in the morning before he became completely horizontal, refusing all food or drink, and sleeping more than he ever has in his life! It was strangely quiet around the house.
Today...he's back to his old, rambunctious self!
Back to work after a too-short 3 day weekend. This is me working on photographs on the train, with iPhone tethered for net. The train trip is 55 mins, but the laptop battery lasts 15-20 mins if I'm lucky.
I suppose some days I'll either not want shoot photos or I'll just forget. Today I forgot, but since I have my trusty iPhone, I took a shot at the wine aisle at the market and yes there are at least ten photos everywhere you go.

Project 365: Day 47 (not really)
So Day 47 is the first day to kill my streak of daily 2008 photos. I blame it on Netflix, which was supposed to deliver one movie on Friday and the next one on Saturday. Instead, both arrived on Saturday. By the time I walked away from the TV room late Saturday night, I was already half-asleep. It didn't help that I, the neat and tidy and organized person that I am (not), put my camera away, which meant there was no chance that I'd happen to catch sight of it and remember to take a photo.
So this photo was taken as soon as I woke up the next morning and realized that sadly, I have no power to turn back time long enough to take a Day 47 picture.
Oh well. It was bound to happen.
But I still blame Netflix.
Day 303: I really like it this time of year. When you dont really need the heat on and it gets real cold in the mornings and you dont want to get out of bed.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
Going outside was exactly what I needed today. I do feel like I've photographed every little detail in the neighbourhood by now though...
When I saw this cubby at my parents' house, I said, "Ooh, look at all those nice rolled-up napkins and placemats. Our cats would think it was just for them!" No sooner did the cats arrive than they proved me right. :)
The International Space Station (ISS) flyover was visible over Columbus, Ohio today. I took the D500 out try to capture it. There were annoying, wispy clouds, but in this one you can see the station moving past Orion, the Hunter!
So I was off today and wanted to get more pictures of the harbor that I was at yesterday and discovered it was some anime convention happening. Katsucon is the name of it. No clue who the guy is.
Didnt really get to concentrate on photography today but got this shot of Connor. We thought we had gotten everything for him then 2 days before xmas he says he wanted a puppy dog so I became one of those parents out at the stores looking for his gift.
There's a beacon in Tad which doesn't get lit very often - the last time was for the millennium. It was being lit at 10pm last night but we wanted to be sure the crazies of Tad were all long gone so we had a wander up just after midnight and disappointingly it was already out.
Pathetic quality of gas!
