True Story

Contemporary Moral Problems Class:

Professor: How can we reduce our carbon footprint?

Ally : Fart less.

Lol... I was half right. This is what I do in Philosophy class - act the fool... :o)

It's true guys. A new study reports that 51% of Global CO2 emissions is attributed to Livestock. Yep. Good old animal farts.

I had a point... I guess I just went about it in an unorthodox fashion.

Philosophy was pretty much all doom and gloom today... We debated about

climate change and two guys nearly had a knife fight during a class dispute! Lol.

Well, we called it a "knife fight"... but to others, it was merely a passionate verbal exchange.

*sigh*

Hot Philosophers & their proverbial knife-fights...

you got time for more? :o)

I taught one of my new students today, he is so diligent with his school work, I don't even think he needs a Tutor... Happy High Achievers, the world needs more of them; don't you think? I'm currently an under-achiever and expect no less. :o)

As I drove home though, I passed by an empty construction site with these strange net-like plastic material (to package bricks maybe?) and I tore a piece to make into a fascinator / head piece... I reduced the construction company's carbon emission? Who's going to reduce mine?

Sorry, at first I thought I had a fascinating story, forgive me, my bad...

Apr 16 My son and I went on a good long walk to the Devil's Chimney which overlooks Cheltenham and we saw this! Both of us agree, Helen is one lucky lady. Wonder if she said yes?!

Project365 ~ Round II

(or just getting my shot of the day)

My tomato has a mouth and a nose. :-)

Friends. Took the kids to the zoo today and caught these two pals.

Colors!

This is something my wife picked up at the Shinto shine during New Years. It's full of symbolism. The object itself is a rake which will help you rake in good fortune, specifically rake in money. The two red fish are red snappers, which in Japanese are called "tai." Tai is part of the Japanese word for congratulations, the idea being they will help you be successful in the coming year. At the top there are the faces of two gods. The one in the blue hat promises to keep your home safe. The one in the red hat will help your business be successful in the coming year.

You display this item -- my wife keeps in in front of her home Shinto shrine. Then you take it back to the shrine next year at New Years where they will respectfully burn it up.

It is one of those moments I will not forget. I woke up for the radio at 6:30. It wasn't quite clear who won, but the tone of voice did not sound promising.

Then Michael came with a big cup of coffee - saying I would need it. And broke the news - Trump won. I was shocked. I could not believe it really happened.

The bright spot of the day was the Nature show on PBS that evening - that both Loki and I enjoyed, about cats.

Waiting for these tomatoes to turn red

I didn't like this picture in comparison to the previous ones... but life has been a huge exercise of dealing with frustration lately.

Kisses and hugs for all.

Day 265 – After spending most of the day painting the shutters on the house, Calyn’s face just about expresses how tired I feel.

Fresh and clean.
