Der alte Sportkomplex SEZ aus DDR-Zeiten soll abgerissen werden. Berlin wächst und benötigt neue Wohnungen. Ich hatte neulich Glück gehabt, die Architektur dieses Bauwerkes abzulichten, bevor es endgültig fort ist.

Als Special Guest bekam ich sogar einen passenden Oldtimer vor der Linse. Ein GMC Safari, das einzige Auto an jenem Morgen im November, das vor dem Gebäude geparkt war. Komplementäre Farben und Formen, so gut zueinander passend – diese Komposition hätte es nicht besser geben können.

There will be a removal of the old GDR sports center. This city is getting bigger and needs more places to rent. I was lucky to capture the building before it is taken away. A vintage car was the only vehicle that morning that was parking in front of the decaying building.

Part of my daily routine is to take a 2 mile walk around my neighborhood every morning before work. It clears my head, gets me outside, and gets half of my daily steps in.
