The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.
My lil' "hola!" pillow hanging out on the couch, with the other orange pillows (yes, there's another one you can't see in the photo). I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out!
The BF and I are both Mexican-American, so I wanted to choose a Spanish word for my pillow ... and I chose the one that I use the most. OK, and I really don't know many other "appropriate" words, if you catch my drift. :) But really, I say "Hola" probably more than I say "Hello". It just sounds so cheery!
The roll bounce project is a passion project I did with very talented models that celebrated 90's fashion at Skateland North in Greensboro, NC.

A family member might be here in
a few days and then the project
will be loaded into a car and
transported 2 the temple.

A Lot ! Maybe even more then that ;-)

Inspired by Tromas's recent WIP, in turn based on the Macross VF fighters.
Drawn during a break from a big project at work. I'm quite happy with what the team achieved, but it could not have been done without communication and teamwork.
What did we do?
Installed over 375 WiFi access points in 80+ degree residence halls at UW-Whitewater in one week.
This is the last in this small project on waves. Overall I'm quite pleased with the results of this first attempt, even though it's been a steep learning curve! Shooting it all on film could be considered a blessing and a curse depending on your personal point of view: There's no reviewing what works at the time, but equally because of this, I found myself forced to really consider as much as possible at the time in a way that was as predictive as possible. I now also know that I really do prefer slide film over negative, and I have to say I am blown away by how good the meter in the Mamiya 645 Super prism finder is. I left my hand held light meter (which I routinely use for large format) at home when shooting this project, and had to put complete faith in the camera. I'm also really impressed with the Mamiya 645 105-210mm ULD lens and can't wait to use it again.

Entry walk and entry gate I designed and built for a home in Arroyo Grande, California, in 2005. ALL the rocks visible in this picture are securely cemented or mortared in.
I will probably get slaughtered for posting a Range Rover; anyhow, deal with it. There are more things in the world other than Aventadors and Veyrons to shoot.
This lunchtime I walked along the waterfront as far as the statue I think of as 'Solly'. Then I walked back again.

I was on a lunchtime walk solo today, and zipping along past the golf course I noticed this leaf in the most amazing back light.
It looks like some kind of crazy emboss filter had been applied to it, so it got snapped. :)
I rather like the interior which is both well put together (no rattles) and pretty good quality. It is however filthy and could do with a freshen up. This will be addressed shortly.
The initial assessment went quite well. The underside is in very good condition and the previous advisories of a damp steering rack and corroded front brake lines don't look to have worsened. Both sides will probably clean up fine.
Having driven it another 20 miles or so we discovered the thermostat is probably stuck open, which accounts for the temperature gauge I thought was non-functional. It does actually start to read when stationary, but cools straight off again when on the move. Annoyingly thermostat replacement is a cambelt-off job on these, however I have a work-around for this, which involves installing a thermostat in one of the top-hoses. Apparently this is a common fix on Rover 75s too.
The cool running, very short runs and long periods standing all appear to have contributed to condensation and thus mayonnaise in the underside of the oil cap. I was a bit concerned this could be a symptom of head gasket failure, however the coolant is fine and it's exhibiting no other symptoms of HGF. I'll keep an eye on it.
Initially it ran very well this morning, but after 15 miles or so it started to hesitate and misfire. We hooked up the diagnostic gear and a few codes came up. They relate to the EGR valve, crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor. We managed to clear them and remove the EML, but the crankshaft sensor fault kept returning.
On the cosmetics front we tried and failed to remove the dent in the rear bumper (a job for a warmer day) and my neighbour tested some wax treatment on the rear 3/4 panel. We concluded something stronger is required!
So what's the plan? With the sensors being relatively inexpensive I'm going to get one of each and see what difference they make. I'm aware the actual problems could lie elsewhere, but this seems a reasonably inexpensive place to start. I'll also look at some options for the thermostat work-around. I'll not get a lot of time on this over the next few weeks, so it'll be a bit of a slow burn. I'll collect some parts, start to tackle the interior as and when I can and then do some fitting up in a few weeks time. Watch this space...

This day was a race day. I had been running since Friday afternoon and during all day. So, there is no photos with my fuji today. I was carrying my sports camera and took some photos during the day but nothing good... I've chosen this photo as the photo of the day because there is no more... Sorry.
I finished the race wirh 32h50m in 137th position over 2500...it is the best result ever for me.
amazing from every view, I love the front side same as the back and backlit as well! that's why i didn't want to make a pillow from it, but instead I will try to find some suitable plexiglass to put it inside to all aspects of it be visible...
one of the original projects published in Shadowfolds book of Jeff Rutzky and Chris Palmer, my biggest shadowfold project till now
made on 50 cm square of blue lining fabric, not the best choice for shadowfolds but it was part of experiment :) ... after it was cut to obtain circle as you see it on pictures, final size is 27 cm (diameter)
the size was quite small and fabric quite light and wobbly, ironing was especially difficult, and you can see a lot of imperfections in detail, but i like overall view and feeling from this piece
started before Christmas and finished during winter holiday in Slovakia
Jeff managed to copy the pattern to the fabric, my thanks goes to him :)
