Like the Manhaten Project, sort of. They set up this street table on Isla Mujeres and I got to help with it on Saturday.
My current photography project is on the local shop keepers of Horbury and their businesses. I have been taking images of the owners and colleagues in their premises. The focus is on the person with all their products in shot, showcasing their shop as it is on an average day. I started this because I think local independent shops are a part of what keeps small communities together. As I have spent time taking the photos I have come to see the good relationships the shop keepers have with the local public, how many of them are on first name terms and how much the local community supports the local shops and services.

A problematic project because how does one choose?
I adore all the regions of these Fairelands and will post about 5-6 photos in the next day (before the Fairelands fade back) to showcase those worlds that spoke so very clearly to me for various reasons. My clear favorite will close out this series.Thank you, amazing Worldbuilders, thank you.
Shown here: Harvest Home. A glorious region that softly and immediately embraces you and lulls you into a tender sway with its rolling beauty and clean fresh air. (Yes...it puts all your senses right there.) I'd love to live here please. Wonderful and many sit areas for meeting and reflecting. Does a druid and fae's heart good. (Gorgeous even through the lens of my old computer.)

Project Flickr monthly challenge for July - Weather "See how many extremes of weather you can photograph in one month! "
In North East Scotland we don't have many 'extreme' weather events (happily) - but we do have some wonderful skies! This was shot early in the month as the setting sun lit up the sky. Shot with the Sony NEX-7 55-210mm telephoto lens.

The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.
My lil' "hola!" pillow hanging out on the couch, with the other orange pillows (yes, there's another one you can't see in the photo). I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out!
The BF and I are both Mexican-American, so I wanted to choose a Spanish word for my pillow ... and I chose the one that I use the most. OK, and I really don't know many other "appropriate" words, if you catch my drift. :) But really, I say "Hola" probably more than I say "Hello". It just sounds so cheery!

so hauling the project to the temple
won't be happening yet !
Why not use the sidecar you ask ?
Because it kills me and makes for
a long painful day and takes
3-4 days to recover.
A family member might be here in
a few days and then the project
will be loaded into a car and
transported 2 the temple.
How much food and stuff do I carry ?
A Lot ! Maybe even more then that ;-)

Small pipe is 21/2 inch OD.
Big pipe is 63/4 inches OD.
Each pipe is 29 inches long.
