These last weeks, we have thought about our next summer holidays. We hope that they will be even more exciting that 2012 vacation in Crete. Looking at this photo, it seems very difficult :)
My 52 project - Week 14/52.
Hohensalzburg Castle - Royal Chambers.
From this window can be seen the spire of the Castle Chapel and beyond that another mountain of this land of mountains.

The word, "holocene," refers to the era of the earth's life that we are in right now -- the time since the last ice age. Elmwood Park Zoo is currently displaying a collection by the artist, Russell Ronat, intended to draw attention to the endangered animals of our time. He calls the exhibit, "Project Holocene."
Looking down at the ground we see the forlorn west track of the CN Weston Subdivision. During the West Toronto grade separation project, the west track of the CN Weston and east track of the CP Galt Subdivisions were and still are temporarily abandoned, I presume to simplify operations.
In early 2002, in a justified act of revenge, I stole my friend Andrea Zink's bra. You know, that fleshy, beige-coloured bra all girls own for under white or sheer tops.
I began a campaign to photograph as many friends, acquaintances and even family in the bra. Then I sent the photos to people I knew around the globe with as a postcard template which they printed out and mailed back to Andrea, convincing her that her bra was on a walkabout around the world—torturing her from each locale.
Andrea hated it. One day, figuring I must've been the cause of all this, she marched into my office and threw a particular postcard (#002 to be precise) at my head and yelled "Make it stop!"
I did not.

This is my kind of Red, fruit of the vine, add some cheese and a great way to unwind after a long day at work....and the bane of my waistline! Oh well, one doesn't live forever, might as well enjoy while we can.
Project 365 10/05/2017: Well, the sun is shining bright from the west while a thunderstorm sits just over our general area. It actually began to rain right after I took this photo.

E voi bambini sudati
addormentati scalmanati
sul ponticello del canaletto
nero puzzolente con lo stecco
brandito per rimestare rospi schifosità
le punture d’ortica
e le parole magiche madide di sogni e sortilegi
e gli occhi belli masticando castagne,
voi
di età diverse generati, gemmati
appena partoriti nepioi
di piumaggio astratto
sproporzione divina antianantomica
in cerchio in fila in gruppo
per la strada che porta
all’arrembaggio dei tesori
alle pergole da vendemmiare,
smoccolanti petanti urinizzanti
nell’aria che si bea tra mani e piedi.
Pappe pappine merendine
delizie porcherie rimasticate
seduti sulla terra immensa
nei buchi della scuola
rapiti ipnotizzati dagli schermi
ributtati detestati
luce straziante
diamante.

With the AWPR now open, work can now progress with the next big roads project, the Haudagain redesign. Demolition of homes around the Scatterburn terminus has already started which will allow the new spur road to be built.
67085 (on one of its regular off 13 days) seen here with open space behind where tenements have now been demolished and the Scatterburn terminus now visible.
This looks like a big project for someone ..... well and truly worn and weathered!

I'm going to shoot a Snooze Buttons gig tonight, which will be so exciting. Alone the gig will be cool but music combined with photography is the best thing I can imagine. =)
You may look forward to see the results soon ;)

Glory.
when I prepared this to show you I did not enhance it atall so this must be what it would have looked like from outside the plane!
- in order to see this striking phenomena the Sun must be directly behind you, as it casts a shadow on to a layer of cloud. The glory, which looks like a series of rainbow rings around the shadow, is produced by cloud droplets reflecting, refracting and diffracting sunlight, although the exact optics are still not fully understood.
One of the easiest places to spot a glory is from that great cloudspotting location, the window of a plane. It can sometimes appear around the plane's shadow, cast on to a nearby layer of cloud or fog. When the cloud's some distance away the shadow is absent and you just see the coloured rings.

A blowfish. Part of the Carnival of Lights in Lower Hutt. Jae and I met up with Rosemary and enjoyed the lights after Jae and I had been to the geocaching fish & chips event at Trentham, in advance of the NZ Geocaching Mega which starts tomorrow. The start of a busy weekend.

WEEK 50 – Statesboro Office DepotMax, Set III
Here’s another common OfficeMax feature I fully expected to come across here in Statesboro: the Project Idea Center. I really wish I had photographed the Horn Lake store a lot better than I did; I know I reference it a lot, but in reality I have very few useful interior photos of the place. The only other OfficeMax store I’ve shared so far has been the Tupelo store, and while I did a much better job photographing that one (if I do say so myself :P ), what I’m trying to say here is that I didn’t photograph this piece at that store, either, so I don’t really have any great comparison links to share here. Not to worry, though: at least one of my future OfficeMax stours has this captured! Now if only I’ll be able to remember to come back and reference this photo when I post it… XD

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)
This is a continuation of the current project of an Image a day.
This will take a year to complete. It will be a "Colour Project"....numbered 731 to 1100 and it will begin on September 1st 2022..
I will also include an additional 4 Sets that will last a month each.
First will be Vines and Vineyards in November.2022.
Second is Forests ,,Water, ,Trees and Leaves in February 2023.
Third "Light Eating Objects" in May 2023.
Forth will be another B&W . August 2023.
On top of all that every month will feature a small set of 4 pics with different themes.
As you can see I shall be a busy Bunny!.
Hope you like the stuff!!!!!!!.
