Twice I've walked around town in the rain lately but the people in my town were not being at all co-operative when it came to witty and clever 2D things happening (I blame half-term ;) ) so this will have to do. I dunno .. a dog last week .. a cat this week ..

The Message Project <3 is a collaborative interactive project!
So we started this stop-motion where the first person makes one of those can/cup phones and passes a positive message along. Another person, in a completely different place gets the message and passes it along.
Why the fake phone? It's supposed to represent that making a person happy and spreading a positive message is easier than we think.
So here's what you have to do:
1. Make a fake phone, using cans or cups and a cord. It's so easy to make, it takes minutes!
2. Make a sequence of photos (the more the merrier) of yourself or a friend, receiving a call from this fake phone, smiling, and then passing whatever you think the message was into the other cup/can. *
3. Be creative! shoot your stop-motion outdoors, indoor, up on a tree, anything! :)
4. You don't have to actually put the photos together yourself. You can just send** me the sequence of photos and I will put them together in the final video.
5. Spread the word! Write about this project on your photostream so we can have as many people participating as we can!
6. You have until after the holidays to send me the sequence of photos!
P.S. We already have a nice ending for this video, that will be attached in the end, as a closure.
Also, the final song won't be this one, since I imagine the video will be much longer and this song is too short. You are welcome to suggest a soundtrack for this project, preferably an instrumental one - no lyrics.
*Let me remind you that the cord and the cans must be coming from two different places, since you're passing the message along to another person, not to the same phone/yourself. So, it's actually as if there were two phones.
**You could email me the pictures, but I think it'll be a slow process.
You can put them in a .zip file or a .rar file and send me through email or sendspace!

No good photo today. I got home with no photo taken and I had to go out to run. First day of training after my rest weeks. It's cold outside and dark...but I need to start training again. Selfie photo and run!
This project began in March and I have finished the most important accessories for this series. It is easy to guess what the theme it is, isn't it? I have planned to design a dress in this theme for a long time. Finally I got my whole concept in March :) This will be my primary project during my short stay in China~
Que eu sou uma tia babona, todo mundo que me acompanha aqui já sabe né? E hoje a Julia começou a ir à escolinha e resolvi postar essas fotos dela.
Nesse dia eu tinha acabado de chegar de uma sessão de fotos e fui pro quarto deixar minhas coisas e ela estava lá brincando. Sentei no chão para ver as fotos na câmera e quando olho pra ela, várias caretas e sorrisos lindos pra mim. Coloquei a câmera no automático e comecei a registrar tudo isso.

Project 365 09/22/2017: Surprised to see this hot-rod parked at our building parking lot - with a mean looking power plant!
This is the view from a rooftop bar called Dirty Little Secret. There are two other bars in the building - The Four Kings and The Five Stags. We'd been to the pub quiz at The Five Stags and Cam, who was the quizmaster when we quizzed at The Pub, told us to come up and see the views from here.
This junction is where the trolley bus lines go around the corner. You can see lines painted on the road and also the overhead lines for the trolley buses to get their power.

Project Rolleiflex SL26
Cool Relaxing Project

They stopped making 126 films over 20 years ago.
Determined to use my old Rolleiflex SL26, I fed a standard 35mm into a 3D printed 126 cartridges copy. Got two sets out of one 36 roll.
Standard C-41 (Rollei Kit) development and scanned in an Epson flatbed Scanner.

A little more details on Rolleiflex SL26:
It's the year 1944 and the war in France is closely coming to an end. Normandy has been liberated and american, canadian and british troops are on there way to free the rest of the country! Sending bombers and fighters first, the american's are fierce and strong in the attack. Germany obviously want's to keep ground and fight back hard.
Well here are some photo's of Project Aviation, where Stijn, Mats, Jurian and I have been working on.

Another shot from my projected portrait from today. I actually like this shot better but it doesn't have my user name on it like the other.
I bought this small glass at furniture store this morning. I added pepsi in it and placed it on the table in my backyard. I took these photos around 7pm to get the golden lights from sunset. Sunlight did enhance the color of the liquid as I wanted. I edited in Photoshop with levels, curves and brightness to make the final look.

Day 3 of 365 project and I'm so busy I haven't had time to think about much. Having salad for dinner and thought I'd do a close up of cucumber (well why not?!) In the abscence of a light-box I stuck it on the window...(You should have seen the bemused look on my Husband's face). I always thought cucumber was slimy but on closer inspection it's got more texture than I thought.
