Happy New Year! I have a lot of anticipation for this year. One thing I am excited about is that I am going to do a 365 project this year. I have missed having photography in my life on a daily basis so I am going to shoot every day and post every day. I will use film as well so I will be incorporating that as well considering developing time.
Every New Year's, we have a sleepover with our group of friends and all our kids. Last night, we had four couples sleeping in one room and eleven children scattered all over the house. We cook, we sing, we sip, we pray, we laugh, we play, we revel and we celebrate. It's one of my favorite times of the year and it's a perfect way to bring in the new year.
Anticipating good things this year.

This is tavascan Town. I'm going to run a circular mountain track about 60km with my friend during all night and part of tomorrow... yujuuu!!!
Before taking this course I didn't have any objectives in mind, but to pass and clear my GE requirement. As the course progressed I realized how much I enjoy taking images.. Especially the one that freeze the moments, capture actions.. It truly speaks of my nature, I admire stillness and surrender myself to it sometimes, but nothing rocks my soul harder then an intense exercise or going down the hill on my bike, and now capturing motions with my camera.
The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The project is located in a reclaimed Kaolinite pit, located 2 km (1.2 mi) from the town of St Blazey and 5 km (3 mi) from the larger town of St Austell, Cornwall.
The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining omes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. The biomes consist of hundreds of hexagonal and pentagonal, inflated, plastic cells supported by steel frames. The largest of the two biomes simulates a Rainforest environment and the second, a Mediterranean environment. The attraction also has an outside botanical garden which is home to many plants and wildlife native to Cornwall and the UK in general; it also has many plants that provide an important and interesting backstory, for example, those with a prehistoric heritage.
Art is like a border of flowers along the coures of civilization.

The past few weeks it feels like photography has been work. I've shot several sporting events, political events, an event relating to my work, plus a little travel around the state. Of course none of the work "paid."
This night was the first night in a long time that I had to come up with something on my own to photograph for the 365 project. I changed a light in a lamp that requires a clear bulb. I played around with some different looks at it, but settled on a macro of the inner workings of the bulb. With the exception of cropping and a little sharpening, this is straight out of the camera.
