The 2 lane Pulp Mill Covered Bridge crosses above a dam making up the Middlebury Lower Project on Otter Creek.
Here is the completed project. See the beginning in the previous photo.
A neighbour was going to put in a few steps from her walkway down to her driveway... where she shortcuts to her car in the garage. Originally there were a couple of old wrecked flagstones in there somewhere. In the winter it is deadly..but, she still keeps using the short cut.
We talked her into doing something...she bought a few blocks.. and moved a bit of vegetation.. but, it was obvious she was never going to be able to do it herself. So, we put up our hands and took her to the local landscape supply place to buy something bigger. We found some slabs... got some crushed gravel in buckets... and, found out her back was really bad (plus she would never have been able to lift those things on a good day ) so we just started it one day while she was at work.
That jungle of thyme and pebbles was the worst part...it took a long time to rip it out and dig out some dirt and discovered plenty of decorator pebbles embedded in the dirt too.
Anyway... Greg and I have done a lot of rock work in our own yard..so he measured, levelled and heaved those huge slabs around ... we worked for 5 days ... several hours per day.
He did a LOT of levelling and pounding ... did I mention that he is pretty anal when it comes to doing things? Well, even outside he needs things to be within 1/16 of an inch..... arrghhh... I have to keep saying.... it's only outside ...It is the yard...you know... things like that.
So, our little neighbourhood project is complete..she is ecstatic and we are happy she will be safe during our long, cold, snowy and icy winter. This morning it is down to only +2C already... sign of things to come... and it's only September.

In early 2002, in a justified act of revenge, I stole my friend Andrea Zink's bra. You know, that fleshy, beige-coloured bra all girls own for under white or sheer tops.
I began a campaign to photograph as many friends, acquaintances and even family in the bra. Then I sent the photos to people I knew around the globe with as a postcard template which they printed out and mailed back to Andrea, convincing her that her bra was on a walkabout around the world—torturing her from each locale.
Andrea hated it. One day, figuring I must've been the cause of all this, she marched into my office and threw a particular postcard (#002 to be precise) at my head and yelled "Make it stop!"
I did not.
Today, I apply primer on my dollhouse :)
Next step : I need to apply some white paint on ceiling, and after I will be able to put the wallpaper, carpet and the floor !! :)
Project 365 09/22/2017: Surprised to see this hot-rod parked at our building parking lot - with a mean looking power plant!
It's the year 1944 and the war in France is closely coming to an end. Normandy has been liberated and american, canadian and british troops are on there way to free the rest of the country! Sending bombers and fighters first, the american's are fierce and strong in the attack. Germany obviously want's to keep ground and fight back hard.
Well here are some photo's of Project Aviation, where Stijn, Mats, Jurian and I have been working on.

They stopped making 126 films over 20 years ago.
Determined to use my old Rolleiflex SL26, I fed a standard 35mm into a 3D printed 126 cartridges copy. Got two sets out of one 36 roll.
Standard C-41 (Rollei Kit) development and scanned in an Epson flatbed Scanner.
Love the images over the sprockets

A little more details on Rolleiflex SL26:
Another shot from my projected portrait from today. I actually like this shot better but it doesn't have my user name on it like the other.

I love these dolls, they remind me of Liv! Only the deluxe ones that come with an experiment have articulated bodies.
