She thought about how she didn't have enough money to bury herself.
She'd be a burden if she died, so she bought a ten-thousand-dollar life-insurance policy. Then felt it wasn't enough and left instructions for cremation or cardboard box.
She battled cigarettes, negotiating her next smoke, and taking a shower, washing her hair again, rinsing traces of a bad habit into the sewage. She took five showers a day sometimes.
She worried about finding a job, even though she'd once had the perfect job with the perfect salary. But nothing was different.
She focused on her pain, both physical and emotional until she couldn’t move. She was certain she was being forced into a square peg of conforming to something.
Her library contained everything and nothing. She read about Bryon, literary agents, screenplays, Disraeli's letters, plot ideas, English Lords, scriptwriting, Indian wars, antiques and Tutankhamun.
Her father was an asshole, and it was a weird thing to suddenly realize.
The months kept flying by and then it was Mr. Jones’ funeral.

Professional Art Program
Our Art Program is designed for those who are seeking to mature their skills as an artist, and for those who are just begin to try the water on their artistic voyage, and for those who just love art and creativity... You can start any time and stay with us as much you’d like.
Portfolio Art Programs
These evening and weekend classes for talented students who decide to continue art education for more “practical” level. These programs allow artists to focus on “portfolio” areas: painting, creative thinking, illustration, graphic design, digital art and art history. For the end of four years of study every student will have extensive portfolio to show at enrollment in to college or workplace.
Workshops
These one or two-week intensive sessions are taught by Living Art Studio's instructors, outstanding artists, Dr. Jane Goretskaya and doctoral student, MA, Marina Bichinsky. They allow artists to build upon their knowledge. As evidence of their value, a growing number of our international alumni return regularly to advance their skills.

if I am correct there are only 2**(8*8) = 18.446.744.073.709.551.616 combinations possible… so, only the first page here
nice to know, all the classic Apple, IBM, Arcade, Atari, Commodore etc… fonts are in there, as long they are based on 8x8 pixels

The Urban Wilderness Project is one of many youth programs that has partnered with North Cascades National Park to restore and encourage positive communities through culturally and environmentally based service-learning projects.

Bristol Indiana Parks Kids' Summer Program Begins Monday, June 6, 2016.
Bristol Parks Kids’ Summer Program began on Monday, June 6, 2016 at Hermance Park Pavilion (behind the old River Inn Restaurant. The Summer Park Program is for kids in K-6 grade. Park officials advise it will be an AMAZING SUMMER! The Campers will be taking part in the summer Library program, taking trips to the Splash Pad and having pizza in the park every Friday!!! Their centers will include board games, card games, Legos, play doh, Perler beads, reading fun, and a drawing table. They will have a large supply of outdoor games as well as chances to use the Parks outdoor playground equipment. The Campers attended the Wildlife program on Tuesday, June 7 at the Library. Alli Woods is the Director of the program this year, and Mary Wright is her assistant. If you’d like more information please call the Town Hall @ 848-7007.
I made four layer programs, with a black backing, wrapped over the top. I secured them with different colored ribbons - which coordinated with our wedding colors (black, hot pink and lime green). The inspiration was the program from my friend Juliana's wedding.
Presidente Prudente recebe 5ª apresentação de Orquestra da temporada do Música nos Hospitais 2015/2016
Na última sexta-feira (22), o Hospital Regional de Presidente Prudente recebeu a quinta apresentação de Orquestra da temporada 2015/2016 do projeto Música nos Hospitais. Cerca de 400 pessoas, entre pacientes, acompanhantes, médicos, funcionários e familiares dos músicos prestigiaram e se emocionaram com a apresentação da Orquestra de Câmara do Oeste Paulista.
Como forma de valorizar a cultura local da cidade, pela primeira vez, o programa deu oportunidade para instrumentistas da região se apresentarem. Divididos em quatro grupos, primeiro ocorreram as apresentações menores nos setores Emergência; Cirurgia Pediátrica I; Cirurgia, GO e UTI Neonatal; e Clínica Médica e Uco Cardiologia. Em seguida, os 13 instrumentistas, sob regência do maestro e violino Luiz Antônio Peres Filho (Luizão), tocaram na recepção principal da unidade.
O regente, que chegou a cursar Medicina mas trocou a profissão pela música, destacou a importância das composições como ferramenta terapêutica que ameniza a rotina hospitalar. "E o mais interessante é ser o convidado da APM para salvar vidas pela música. Tocar na sensibilidade do ser humano, deixar seus corpos em movimento, ajudá-los na sua recuperação.”
Para o diretor do hospital, Luciano Luiz Leite da Silva (Frei Jacó), não há dúvidas de que a música contribui para a melhora no quadro clínico dos pacientes. "O ambiente hospitalar é tenso, muitas pessoas chegam até com medo. Toda vez que temos um instrumento que ameniza esse sofrimento, além de trazer harmonia e conforto, isso é muito louvável e bem visto.”
Esta é a terceira vez que o programa se apresenta no hospital de Presidente Prudente. Como gerou uma expectativa positiva e houve alcance de bons resultados, o diretor da unidade também implantou o projeto musicoterapia, que leva diariamente música aos setores clínicos. "O ser humano é feito de projeções física, psíquica e emocional e espiritual. A música é a única força capaz de tocar em todas essas dimensões”, reforçou.
A presidente da Regional de Presidente Prudente da APM, Marisa Lopes Miranda, ressaltou igualmente o valor clínico da arte musical. "Toda música é uma arte que transpira carinho, amor e atenção. Então é importante que se avalie e trate o paciente como um todo, não o restringindo apenas às terapias medicamentosas.”
Também compareceram ao evento o 10º diretor Distrital da APM, Paulo Roberto Mazaro, e o diretor de Marketing, Ademar Anzai; além do representante do deputado estadual Mauro Bragato, Renato David.
Além do maestro Luizão, tocaram Marcos Araújo, no piano; Débora Souza, Lara Martinez, Giovana Viudes, Ellen Almeida, Eder Júnior, Mariana Conti e Talita Yumi, nos violinos; Renata Cristina e Isabela Marcondes (violas); Ana Clara Garcia (viola e percussão); Daniele Terumi (Cello) e Lara Santos, na flauta transversal.
A acompanhante Isabel Rodrigues já conhecia o programa. "Quem teve a ideia merece ser sempre prestigiado. O evento é maravilhoso e tem de continuar”, sorriu. "Se você está em um quarto e só vê enfermo de um lado e do outro, fica ansioso e agitado. Com algo belíssimo para assistir, a pessoa se distrai. E o meu marido gosta muito”, reforça outra acompanhante, Regina Bezerra Simões.

Partners came together in mid-June to plant fifty threatened swamp pink plants at a western North Carolina bog managed by the North Carolina Plant Conservation Program. The fifty plants were raised in captivity by the Atlanta Botanical Garden from seed collected at the site. Raising the seeds in captivity reduces plant mortality, while using seeds originally harvested from this site helps conserve any unique genetic characteristics that may occur in the plants found at this bog. Staff from the Atlanta Botanical Garden, N.C. Plant Conservation Program, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service helped with the planting.
Swamp pink has been on the federal threatened and endangered species list as threatened since 1988. It’s sporadically found in wetlands from New Jersey to Georgia.
