University of Kentucky President Eli Capilouto joined the president of the UK Student Development Council, Jonathon Nunley, Kentucky Historical Society Marker Program Coordinator Becky Riddle and others April 15 in dedicating the latest addition to the Live Blue Legacy historical marker program. The marker is made possible through donations from members of the Class of 2012.

This historical highway marker, the 19th in a series, pays tribute to UK student traditions dating back more than 100 years.

An early rivalry between freshman and sophomore classes on the UK campuses was the annual 'Flag Rush' competition where one class would defend their flag from being captured by a rush of competitors.

Replacing the flag rush in 1913 was the 'Tug of War' across Clifton Pond. Students were granted a half-holiday for the annual drenching, and crowds could reach more than 2,000 for the event.

The dedication ceremony and unveiling of the marker took place at a site located near the William T. Young Library on the UK campus. A reception followed.

Since 1994, the Live Blue Legacy Program has supported the placement of Kentucky Historical Society Highway Markers across the UK campus. The Live Blue Legacy Program is administered by the Student Development Council, whose members solicit gifts from members of the graduating class, in this case the Class of 2012. These funds are used to purchase, install and dedicate a marker in the name of that particular class.

Women Empowerment groups were started in 2013 in all the PEP schools. The ideas was to provide awareness to women regarding their rights, responsibilities, savings, and issues such as early marriage. These women were provided training on building low cost washroom and they were also provided training on how to save their families during severe floods. At present PEP has 67 groups in total. Each group has a group of 10 females.

In 2016 , on the request of women, adult literacy course is introduced to the women. Project aimed at 5 centres in 2016 but 27 centre were started in 2016. they women were provide free books and no fee was charged from them. A mobilizer from the same village taught these classes.. They course is designed for one year as it is a weekly class.

In 2017 , PEP introduced a centre where women can learn from android tablets. PEP has designed three grade applications in Sindhi on tablets which are useful for these women. They can use those applications and hear sounds and can read the sentences and stories.

Now women are able to read and write sentences. Instead of thumb print they can write their names. They developed their confidence and able to perform theater on sensitive issues. Some of the theatre performances are uploaded on PEP website.

PEP is reaching out to the marginalized communities with a hope of educating them and making them effective citizen of our country.

PEP requested you to distribute these light as a token of thanks and as a resource for them so they can use it in the night too. They are thankful for all the encouragement that you have provided to them.

The Popular game in Florida lottery, Florida Lotto, does not have a jackpot cap and can roll over as long as there is no winner with all six numbers match. Florida lottery set a record of $30 million revenue in a single day due to a huge $100 million jackpot in Florida Lotto on Sep 14, 1990.

Florida's lotto got major changes in 1999. The numbers drawn matrix changed from 6 out of 49 to 6 out of 53. An additional drawing on Wednesday is started. Due to this additional Wednesday draw the initial jackpot was lowered to $3 million. On Oct 11, 2009, FL lottery introduced an add-on to Florida Lotto, called Lotto Xtra. Players can choose to add an extra dollar to their bet to multiply their non-jackpot prizes up to 5 times.

Along with above big jackpot games, Florida offers various other games like Cash4Life, Pick 2, Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5, Fantasy 5, and Lucky Money etc..

During 2009, Florida has players won hundreds of millions of dollars, in that single year the FL lottery paid ten jackpots of each $10 million.

FL lottery celebrated 25 years of operation in 2013. The celebrations caused a complete re-branding of Florida lottery with a new logo and its presence on social media networks like Facebook and Twitter.

Florida lottery has more than 13000 retail stores selling the lottery tickets. These retailers earn 5% of their ticket sales along with other incentives on winning tickets. With 18% of sales in FL lottery, Publix is the largest retailer in the state.
