The participating outreaches to Houston Area K-12 Schools are: 1) Robotics by UH MAES, 2) NSBE Jr. Engineering Design Challenge by UH NSBE, 3) Engineering=Fun by UH SASE, 4) TEAMS: Engineering Healthier Lives by UH SHPE, and 5) Launch Into Engineering by UH SWE.
Every Wednesday in September, the High Line welcomed families to create snacks with High Line Food vendors. Chefs from La Newyorkina, Melt Bakery, People’s Pops, and The Cleaver Co. took turns leading interactive hands-on, child-friendly recipe demonstrations.
At the same time, kids could play with the Children's Workyard Kit, a mobile, oversized crate of building materials. Young visitors were able to use custom-designed wood planks, wheels, ropes, gears, pulleys, tools, found objects, and natural materials to construct their own play and build their own visions.

NCDs Program supported by Dotdash Meredith India
As part of management of NCDs, Trinity Care Foundation with CSR support from Dotdash Meredith India has initiated a public health project in a Government PHC in Ramanagara District, Karnataka with focus on Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and Oral Health. This project has the potential to significantly reduce cardiovascular care and oral health disparities and improve community awareness for the marginalized.

Brighter Bites is a collaborative effort designed to improve access to healthy, affordable food and provide nutrition education. The University of Texas School of Public Health, KIPP Schools, the Houston Food Bank and Texas Children's Hospital have partnered to offer the 16-week program to third-grade children enrolled at KIPP Explore Academy and their parents. As you can see from the photos, those healthy kale smoothies are a hit!
