The EPS Summer Arts Program this year went 'Under the Sea' for their theme and final performances held on Monday, July 21, 2017. This year the students were hosted by Victor Mravlag School #21. Nearly 400 students from throughout the district came together each day to receive enrichment in Visual Arts, which included Drawing, Painting, Ceramics and Photography, and Performing Arts, which included Band and Theater! Parents and family members were treated to an Art Gallery Walk, held in the school gymnasium and two performances by the Band and Theater group entitled 'Adventured Under the Sea' which were created and adapted by the students and staff! The two matinee performances were jam packed with families and friends and the program administrators, Dr. Mari Celi Sanchez, Principal of School #21, Ms. Tracy Monteiro, Supervisor of Visual Arts and Dennis H. Argul, Supervisor of Music, were very thankful and appreciative that Board Commissioner Ms. Caravalho and Board President Mr. Neron were also there in attendance in support of the students and program!

The Social Center in Orhei is a program of Diakonia, the social outreach arm of the Bessarabian Orthodox Church in Moldova.
The after school program takes place in a refitted train car.
CWS supports the center with provision of School and Hygiene Kits to children who participate in their after school program and is looking for other ways to assist.
The Center also provides a halfway house for young women who are coming out of state institutions for orphaned/abandoned children and a clothing distribution center.
On Wednesday, April 18, Westminster students were recognized at the Spring Honors Convocation for their outstanding academic achievements.

For those not used to 'old' English money this was 1 shilling which is 10p in 'new' money. The program this year cost £5.
So 100x as much. Inflation...

Elementary school students create endothermic and exothermic reactions, make super slime to take home, experience a chemical reaction that produces light without heat, and more.
"It's Simply Chemistry" is one of six COSI On Wheels programs that travel throughout Ohio and neighboring states.
