The United States Air Force Band String Quartet held a special concert on May 8, 2016 for His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, and other invited guests to commemorate a performance that took place on May 9, 1956 in Phnom Penh at the invitation of the late King Norodom Suramarit and Queen Sisowath Monivong Kossomak Nearireath Serei Watana.
Joined by two Cambodian artists, The United States Air Force Band String Quartet played a mix of American, European, and Cambodian music, including two pieces by King Sihanouk that premiered in 1956.
The musicians concluded the 60th Anniversary Concert with a special birthday message for HM King Norodom Sihamoni and a heart-warming encore performance of "Monika" in honor of HM Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk.

For the second consecutive year, The Pointe residents have corresponded with several elementary classes as part of our Pen Pal Program. At the end of the school year, a group of residents visit the school and meet the children they have been sending letters to. The children were just as excited as the residents to finally meet. One class read stories to the residents and another gave a presentation on jaguars. The program is one of our most successful and popular among our residents and they are already looking forward to school starting in the fall. Not sure the kids feel the same about that though!
#TurismoPaulista O Programa de Governança e Gestão de Projetos Turísticos, uma parceria entre a APRECESP- Turismo Paulista e o Senac SP, teve inicio nesta semana. O curso está sendo realizado em quatro polos do Senac, em Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo (Aclimação) , Jundiaí e Taubaté.
O tema do primeiro módulo foi “Governança no Turismo”, o curso ainda conta com os seguintes temas “Elaboração de Projetos Prioritários no Turismo”, “Gestão de Projetos do Turismo” e “Entrega e Sistematização de Registro Final”.
No total, serão 104 horas de curso, 56 horas de carga horária presencial e outras 48 horas de aulas virtuais.
As fotos a seguir são do módulo “Governança do Turismo”, realizado no dia 28/05, no Senac Aclimação, com a presença de representantes das seguintes estâncias: Cananéia, Eldorado, Guarujá, Iguape, Ilha Comprida, Itanhaém, Mongaguá, Ribeirão Pires, Poá e São Roque.

Vogel and Birckhead spoke at an American Corners event that focused on the 15-year partnership between the Maryland Guard and the Bosnian and Herzegovina armed forces as part of the U.S. Department of Defense’s State Partnership Program. The SPP pairs up National Guard elements with partner nations worldwide. During the event the two shared their personal experiences in the U.S. military as well as talked about the ongoing relationship between the Maryland Guard and Bosnia. Tu hijo debe recibir 2 dosis de la vacuna SRP antes de enterar 2 años y si es de 2 a 4 y no tiene las 2 dosis de SRP completa las dosis antes de que entere los 5 años y si es mayor de 5 y no lo hiciste vacunar nunca también lo puedes hacer vacunar no esperes mas, llevalo a tu c.de salud mas cercano a tu casa de acuerdo al día que te corresponde salir con tu C.I.
Si tienes una persona mayor de 60 años, persona con alguna enfermedad de base, mujer embarazada o si eres un personal de salud vacunate contra la influenza esto ayudara a prevenir complicaciones en tu salud. Las vacunas están en todos los establecimientos de Salud y son completamente gratuitas. La salud es un derecho y es tu responsabilidad cuidarla.

Presented by Friends of the High Line, the Trains on Film Series glamorously plays off the history of the High Line, which once carried freight trains delivering dairy, meat, produce, and other goods into the warehouses and factories on Manhattan’s West Side.
The series includes the debut of the new short film, All Aboard!, as well as revival screenings of Some Like It Hot and Strangers on a Train.
This High Line Program is free and open to visitors of all ages. No RSVP required. For more information about the Trains on Film Series, visit www.thehighline.org.
