The 2014-2015 TAI Seminar kicked off with a three-day retreat at the Radisson at Cross Keys in September. More than 40 teachers and artists learned how to integrate the arts into the classroom while aligning with the curriculum. Each artist will work with a teacher partner during the coming months to co-create an arts residency and field-test the program with students.

This week, 2011 MƒA NY Fellows participated in a professional development workshop at MƒA, led by MƒA Master Teacher Chris Luzniak, to prepare them to enter the classroom for the first time this fall. The workshop focused on building relationships with students, establishing classroom routines and planning for the school year.
