Internet for Artists, a weekend long workshop by Creative Capital, will teach artists how to use the power of the web to promote their work.

The entire LVCC organization met for our annual professional development for staff at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA.
Anne Arundel County educators learned to integrate three different art forms into other academic areas. They rotated throughout the day, spending equal time weaving and stitching with Katherine Dilworth, a Young Audiences fiber artist; learning the elements of dance with Lacey Sheppard, Arts Integration Teacher Specialist; and forming clay vessels with Chesapeake Arts Center artist Cami Ascher.
Classroom teachers and teaching artists are exploring learning strategies in the classroom, honing lesson plans, and discussing mindfulness and restorative practice.

Soldiers and Airmen assigned to the 103rd Civil Support Team perform a memorial service for the sole Medal of Honor recipient born in Alaska, Ret. Col. Archie Van Winkle, United States Marine Corps, for his heroism during the Korean War, at his memorial site in downtown Juneau, June 23. In an effort to enhance professional development for all staff and faculty, the San Diego Community College District graduated participants of the Supervisory Leadership Development Academy on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, during a ceremony that took place at the College of Continuing Education’s North City campus. Participants of the training included supervisors, professionals, and non-supervisory classified employees working in a lead capacity and who have a professional goal to perform or promote to a leadership role.
