The second day of staff training offered fun cooperative activities to inspire the teachers. The entire organization gathered to announce company accomplishments, award recognition, and raffle prizes winners.

With the intent of boosting their professional performance, more than 80 practitioners from 32 countries around the world were at ICC Headquarters in Paris for the ICC Institute's advanced-level training on the drafting of enforceable arbitral awards. This course was held on 11 April during the 2018 edition of Paris Arbitration Week.

Korthagen distinguishes five phases in this process: (1) action, (2) looking back on the action, (3) awareness of essential aspects, (4) creating alternative methods of action, and (5) trial, which in itself is a new action and, therefore, the starting point of a new cycle (see figure 1). These five phase model is called the ALACT model

Teaching staff from LVCC traded places in the classroom and became the students today at DeSales University for annual professional development training.

Tamika is the director of the EPA-RTP Library, and she discussed her path to special librarianship. Her first few years as a librarian were in academic librarianship, and those jobs were a good foundation for her work at the EPA. The EPA Library is a small one, so she wears many hats, especially when someone is out.The current job market is tight, so she recommends keeping your resume up-to-date, and to tailor your resume and cover letter to specific jobs. She also recommends keeping electronic copies of your resume, presentations, and other things that might help further your career on a back-up computer or online storage such as Google Docs.
