The ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for Asia is a two-year programme, which is divided into eight one-day workshops that take place every three months in different cities throughout the Asia region. The second day of staff training offered fun cooperative activities to inspire the teachers. The entire organization gathered to announce company accomplishments, award recognition, and raffle prizes winners.
Korthagen distinguishes five phases in this process: (1) action, (2) looking back on the action, (3) awareness of essential aspects, (4) creating alternative methods of action, and (5) trial, which in itself is a new action and, therefore, the starting point of a new cycle (see figure 1). These five phase model is called the ALACT model
Teaching staff from LVCC traded places in the classroom and became the students today at DeSales University for annual professional development training.
Bi-annually, 21st Century CLC puts on an all day professional development for it's support staff, teachers, and advocates. Here are the photos from our most recent one.

Teaching artists gathered for a Maryland Wolf Trap professional Development course presented by Valerie Bayne Carroll and Penny Russell. The artists observed classrooms and practiced scaffolding and planning arts-based lessons to support child development for varying age groups.
