The reason we were putting up with this tonight was because my son wanted desperately to see the Alice in Wonderland exceprt in the middle of this show. When that came on finally, he was so disappointed he turned the television off.
I'm having a problem with the C220. It only happens on rolls of 220 film, never 120. I get leaks like this one on SOME of the frames (maybe half or so) on the roll, always in the same exact spot, in varying intensity. I have a few ideas:
1. The tension on the uptake spool isn't right, even though it is set for 220.
2. The pressure from the adjustable film plate isn't right, even though turned for 220.
3. Equipment problem at the camera shop where I send my film.
I've got a recently finished roll of 220 Ektachrome that's going to a different shop, so that will either confirm or eliminate #3. I'm just not sure why I'd only have the leak show up on 220 rolls. Any ideas?

Power problems including blackouts, brownouts, power surges and line noise interference threaten your investment! They can damage or destroy PCs, audio/video components and other expensive equipment, wipe out valuable data and files, erase component settings, and degrade component performance. Get protected against these all-too-common power threats with Tripp Lite’s SMART1000LCD Digital UPS System. It provides reliable battery backup that can keep entry-level PC systems operational for up to 60 minutes during blackouts. Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) corrects low-voltage conditions (brownouts) back to safe 120V power without draining the UPS battery. Surge suppression and EMI/RFI line noise filtering prevent hardware damage and performance problems such as poor-quality audio and video output. A large illuminated LCD screen with dimmer switch shows incoming power conditions and UPS operations in real time.
Who knew LEGO could float in water so well? Lots of engineering problems were solved using teamwork whenever a vessel started to sink. They always found a way to make it float! We heard a child say, "We need to spread the weight around evenly so that one side doesn't sink." Great critical thinking! Created during LEGO Problem-Solving Apr. 26, 2014.
What is causing this? Is it something to do with the shutter? Has anyone seen this problem before? Can you please help me?
There was some problems apparently with vandelism at these "stations" (which was also the excuse given to leave the lights on for the last few months of non-operation).
The gap here is small, but noticable when compared to the prior photo.
There is some discussion about MacBook gaposis. I thought I'd document mine. The machine has performed perfectly for me for about ten days, so I'm reluctant to take my chances on repair/replacement, but it has noticable gaps in three places: The left and right edges of the keyboard platform, and the top of the screen bezel above the iSight. And I figure that if this is a manufacturing defect, it's better to get in on it early rather than late, before it worsens. So it's shipping back to get checked out.

Despite all the problems originating from Iceland and its evil-spewing volcano, I managed to smile and pose for some pictures along the beautiful French Riviera. Earlier in the day, we spent a couple hours in the Nice train station trying to find a way for us to each get to Paris. We finally succeeded in getting train tickets. We saw so many people doing anything (renting cars, figuring out bus schedules, looking for trains with available space) to get out of Nice and on to where they were suppose to be. I was told by the British family in front of me on line at the train station that Eurocar was charging 500 British pounds ($1000) to rent a car one way just to the city of Calais, where you would then take the Chunnel over to England, as rental cars are not allowed in GB from central Europe. All these problems were caused by a freakin' volcano !!!
When we arrived in York, we were surprised and confused to see the rear portion of a loaded coal train, complete with DPUs, backed off of the Ravenna Sub onto the line to Benedict. The reason for it became apparent as we found a good chunk of the rest of the train scattered across both main tracks west of Waco. We briefly watched the cleanup from a distance before heading back north to the UP since we knew nothing else would be moving along here for a while.

Let's see: not enough air return till I took the panel off, coils are dirty, filter didn't fit right, condenset pan cracked which is causing the leak

On the left is what a .jpg looks like when I have it open in Photoshop CS3. On the right is what it looks like when I look at the photo outside Photoshop. (Not that I necessarily want it too look like the one on the left, I'm just sayin' for demonstration purposes).
I never used to notice this, but since summer I have noticed all my files looking more subdued when I save them.
Anyone know why this happens and/or how to fix it?
