kitty_love: Ha! I did the same thing with a kitten a long time ago. It was only a couple days old, named it Ivan, turned out Ivan was a she! Well, she was a great and loving cat for 18 years!

lbw117: Glad to help. Don't people like to name their own kitties ? You are in UK? Where did you order your scratching posts in US?

sfhfc: @lbw117 yes when they are homes they will most likely all get re-named by their new family, but as you can imagine Allison has got very attached to them since hand rearing them from three weeks old and just found it easier to call them by name. We got scratch posts from a place called furwoodforest, they have a website if you want to check out what great cat trees they make

lbw117: That is where we got ours. With 5 cats that can't go outside we have two . Also trap neuter release and care for a feral colony . It is hard to keep up with those guys. We live near coyotes.
