Project 365/012 Never thought about it before, but I think this may be the first time i have used a flash on the camera to trigger another while taking pictures of the Cats. Closed his eyes in every single frame. back to radio triggers.
This is not the picture of your van you want to see on your vacation. The front right tire began wobbling because of a separating belt. We stopped at a Walmart in Chattanooga. While there I noticed that my brand new tire on the driver rear side had a bubble so we replaced that one too.
Yesterday was quite a busy day, I wasn't on last night until 10 pm! But that's not important.
It all began very early in the morning, when I heard a huge yelp from Cricket's cage. I leaped out of bed to see what was going on, but he seemed fine. When we woke up later, he was limping badly on his left leg.
So after school, we took him to the vet. We didn't want to have x-rays done, unless he's still limping on Monday. the vet gave us some pain medication, and we left.
Today he's doing better, but he's still limping. We're trying to keep him resting, but as you may know, it's not very easy. =)
After the vet, I was off to the high school with my band family to hang out with Marching Band to get the feel for it. It was tons of fun, and I got to meet the people I'll be playing with next year.
So I just wanted you all to know what's going on, and I'll keep you updated on little Cricket.

Self-parking was limited at the hotel, so my parents brilliantly stole a cone from a roadwork site, which they station in their parking spot before leaving.
Oops - Trackpad started to malfunction! It constantly clicked down. I had to bring it into the store. They were going to hold it for 3 to 5 days, but the good Apple corporate team was able to help me get this done within 24 hours.

This ad on the Guangzhou China metro caught my eye..."Cure Male problems? Please come to the Male Hospital of Guangzhou." I mean...we have Viagra...is this a more holistic approach?
The problem with having such cute kids is they get to do lots of fun stuff with out you... and on my birthday no less... 1929 Travelair. They didn't go flying, David Mars from Vintage Air Tours was just taxing the plane in for the night and asked if the girls wanted to go for a little taxi ride..
I'm assuming this is a sensor problem, as there is no way I got light pollution with a lens hood on at 14,000+ ft.
Only happens with long exposures too, I have no clue what it is.
Problem- 3 tab shingle one layer only- shingles not lined up properly when installed and exposure under tabs
Leak 6’ from bottom of roof- ½”-3/4” exposure of shingles tab and water touching wood -roof deck from snow and ice pushing up. Many rusted nails
Tarred under many tabs where the water touching wood.
Leak area areas patched under tabs but not a perm fix
Water was also pouring into tabs as he has plank decking not roof deck sheets or boards and water in cracks in every plank of wood.
Couldn’t pull up every tab and seal or would have been there all day
Perm fix:
Will need underlayment under shingles- will experience more leaks until roof is replaced based on condition and new roof is required asap and Spring is urgent
When replacement is done the roof wood planks need to be replaced with ¾” plywood for roof deck with underlayment and re shingled.

This was a pretty late snow -- traffic was a mess Downtown that day. Not because of the snow but because of that ridiculous marathon. Ugh. My intolerance was incomprehensible as we kept crawling further and further to the north, trying to find a street to cut over to Lake Shore Drive and head back south to the museum.
Water damage, caught quickly, on January 9th. Once again in the bedroom walk in closet. Probably a result of flooding in the space next to me (which houses the water tanks for the building). There had been emergency maintenance of some sort that required the water to the building to be shut off on January 7th.
Reported Friday morning, crew in by 6:30-ish Friday night to clean the carpet.
