Problem Statement
The Subarray Sum Equals K LeetCode Solution - "Subarray Sum Equals K" states that you are given an array of integers "nums" and an integer 'k', return the total number of continuous subarrays whose sum equals to 'k'.
Example:

There are two subarrays whose sum is 3:
- First from index 0 to 1 i.e. ,
- Second from index 2 to 2 i.e.

Approach
Idea:
The main idea is to use a hash map to store the frequency of prefix sums.
So, we'll iterate over the array, finding how many subarrays exist whose sum equals k and ends at the current point on each iteration.
So, if the value of the prefix sum up to this point is 'prefixSum,' the next step is to determine how many prefix sums exist whose value is (prefixSum - k). It can be found in O(1) by using the hash map, which stores the frequency of prefix sums.

The first day after reopening was bound to be busy and hightlight a few problems.

We've got pigeons nesting in the soffit box directly outside our bedroom window. It's not much of a problem apart from the scritching and scratching at night. Anyway I called a guy and they're going to try and come and take a look over the next couple of days. He mentioned removing the birds, blocking the opening, etc. I don't actually want to know what's involved.
Ok, so as I'm talking to this guy on the phone, I'm standing outside the front explaining what I see, and there in the little alleyway at the side of our house is this baby pigeon... just standing there! Ok, what?! It must have fallen out of the soffit box and is now hanging out in our side entrance.
A friend suggested that we're responsible for it now, and we should take it in and raise it by hand. Um, a minute ago we were on the phone to a pigeon fixer... I'm not sure it's in my constitution to raise a pigeon as my own. I say let nature take its course.
Update: we've provided a small box as refuge for the chick in the alleyway... we shall see whether it's in our bed by tonight.

I try everything I can to make sure my cats stay out of my shipping boxes in case someone is allergic/doesn't like cats. And... well... this box was on the top of my bookshelf with some books on top of it so my cat wouldn't knock it off. He knocked it off anyways and found a way inside it. -.-

This is fine in principal but sucks when the reception is bad as these photos show. Actually, I think they're pretty cool - the images freeze - crashing on your screen. Pretty nifty but I was missing the program I really wanted to see this afternoon.

my saarinen tulip table with my royal blue knoll executive chairs WERE perfect for my dining area until i got new windows. who would have thought getting a picture window would change the physical structure of the room the furniture would not fit in it well?! For now my rawhide will have to do until I can afford a new flor/rug configuration.
I know A (it's actually 0,0) I also know B, C, and theta. C is clamped between A and B.
I need to know at what distance (x) along the line at y=C would a point make a triangle with the angle theta and the opposite side AB.
Should have paid more attention in school.
UPDATE: So @brucehoult found a good solution. His Summary:
The trick here is that, no matter what theta is, as you vary C from 0 to B the solution point lies on a cicle. When theta is 90 degrees, the center of the circle lies on the line between A and B, but for other values of theta it doesn't, so you need to find it.

This is a problem I never saw in the text books. The solution means that the camera in Chopper 2 can automatically zoom in and out (translate in and out really) when the playing area becomes shorter or taller, but still display exactly the area where everything is happening. Looks great.

From an anti-police rally I documented back in 2014 in Montreal. This problem has been around a while and is finally being realized by the general public. That is how fascism starts you suppress the actions by hiding them and sweeping them under the rug so to speak. Now with cell phone video the police state is more out in the open. They have to be reined in from top to bottom.

Patient "hot glue gun" had a massive coronary. The main artery had a severe blockage of plaque "dried hot glue". Procedure to eliminate the blockage went underway immediately. The procedure was going well until suddenly the patient flat lined. After several minutes of CPR ( and cursing) the patient was brought back to life. Closing up the body after the surgery was quite complicated, but worked. Patient was then plugged in and began working like new. Patient is now heavily medicated with plaque reducer and plans to live a long healthy life. (you can see the dried glue removed from the gun in the bottom left of the picture)

The AJ Pipon Panoramique f13cm lens is very small, which creates a very dark image in the viewfinder of the Nikon D800. As a result focussing the lens in low light, incl. overcast sky, is very difficult. This is exacerbated by the fact that the focussing helicoid of course allows movement beyond infinity (while 'normal' lenses have a infinity lock); thus even focussing on infinity poses problems.
