This is my domesticated Wolf decendant Pepper. She is a German Shepherd / Labrador cross. So I guess that in these "label" dominated times she should be described as a "Sheprador", "Gerador", "Labraherd", "Labman" or some such nonsense.
To me she is a loved and loving member of our family who, despite the weather, loves carrying or chasing her ball. This was the first time I had played ball with her since her accident 6 months ago.

The Pub in the MonteLago Village, Lake Las Vegas. Summer night hot spot. iPhone was in HDR and didn't go to night mode. I'll have to work on that.
“Telegraph Tuesday” The full Beaver Moon sets under a power line. 2023’s penultimate full moon. The “Cold Moon” in December being the final full moon of the year.
think it was yesterday that I updated the iPhone 11 ProMax os to the latest iOS 16....wishing to learn its features in the next month before my new iPhone 14 ProMax arrives, don'tchknow.....
And I think the new OS changes to the camera sure affected the close up results in this series of photos of the tangerines!
They are sweating! I did not wash them, but took them from the fridge produce drawer and set them on the stainless countertop. Then I ate a couple of them, small things, seedless and sweet.
And I looked at their increasing dampness. Looked at the detail of the sepal, hinting at its journey from flower to fruit.
I looked at the stem, with the leaves suggesting a line of music with green notes springing up.
When I looked at the photos, I said to myself,
"Self, this looks good enough to eat."

Our Daily Challenge: Sign
"Love Your Neighbors"
Evidently this sign is controversial. Really???? With all of the divisiveness in our world today, especially in our country, you would think that everyone would (or should) embrace this message. A recent newspaper article tells me that someone has actually complained about this sign (really??), and the city of Encinitas has ordered the homeowners to remove the sign.
Thank you so much for your views, comments and favs. I really do appreciate every one!
