Irish wool is used to make all types of woolen wear, and Irish people wore clothing themselves with wool as far back as the thirteenth century. This shows how deeply rooted in making wool the people of Ireland are. Particularly well known are the the Aran wool jumpers that are something of Irish identity. We spent a day on the largest Aran island, Inishmore, where this colorful display of scarves was found.

Looking back as we're heading back home from the Cape Breton Highlands National Park...about 15 minutes away.
The troubled casino has been opened and closed at various times since 2006. Now it is only an event center.
