1. Nome del carattere tipografico e type designer, il suo origine e la sua formazione
Adobe Jenson Pro, creato Robert Slimbach, un type designer del team adobe. L’origine del font risale al Rinascimento, infatti Slimbach ha ripreso i font creati da Ludovico degli Arrighi e Nicolas Jenson.
2. Anno di creazione e situazione culturale. Coincide con altri movimenti in arte, letteratura, filosofia, ecc?
Creato fra il 1995 e il 2000. Non corrisponde ad alcun movimento in particolare ma vuole far parte di una serie di font creati da Adobe come rivisitazione di alcuni font storici.
3. Come viene classificato il carattere tipografico dalle digital foundry che lo vendono?
Viene classificato come OpenType in quanto font sviluppato in vettoriale direttamente per il computer. Lo si può acquistare direttamente dal sito di Adobe, oppure su Veer.com o su Fonts.com
4. Caratteristiche formale di altri carattere tipografici nella sua classifica.
L’Adobe Jenson Pro è un font di tipo OpenType ma è una rivisitazione di alcuni font rinascimentali e per questo richiama lo stile Humanist. Presenta quindi forme molto arrotondate e una linea della “x” piuttosto bassa. Inoltre le linee di congiunzione sono molto spesso inclinate.
5. Un esempio del tuo carattere tipografico in uso, una foto trovato in internet o in biblioteca, libreria, ecc.
Gli unici esempi trovati sono stati pubblicati direttamente sul catalogo di presentazione del font e mostrano come sia stato usato per il logo di una bottiglia di vino e per un articolo riguardante un’improbabile fine del mondo.

Nonostante sia molto leggibile, la sua eleganza e il suo stile si adatterebbero bene sulle copertine delle riviste, come scritte su manifesti di grandi dimensioni e su cataloghi di design.
Giornata partita bene e terminata meglio quella dell “Aquabike Training Day” svoltosi Domenica 28 Maggio presso il Tortuga Beach di Andora (SV).
I diversi i Lifeguard intervenuti a questo avvicinamento alle Aquabike da Soccorso si sono subito dimostrati interessati a capire bene quando ma soprattutto come utilizzare al meglio questi mezzi che tanto fanno discutere ma che se saputi utilizzare fanno sicuramente la differenza sull’esito di un soccorso.
Dopo una parte teorica dibattuta sui vari aspetti legali o meno e sulle priorità di un soccorso a seconda delle condizioni meteo, come sempre la parte in acqua ha motivato anche i più scettici, dando loro la possibilità di testare personalmente i pro e certamente i contro di questo mezzo di salvataggio.
La giornata ha visto anche la presenza di nostri Operatori, alcuni di loro stranieri, intervenuti per un sempre gradito allenamento che li ha aggiornati anche sulle nuove tecniche adottate da K38 Italia.
L’obbiettivo di far comprendere che solo dietro una formazione chiara e professionale le Aquabike possono essere la differenza, è stato raggiunto, ora sarà loro compito migliorarsi e crescere in questo settore.
