The streets of downtown West Chester exploded with excitement as hundreds of cyclists raced through this challenging circuit at speeds in excess of 35mph.
It’s the Iron Hill Twilight Criterium, one of the top races on the east coast!
The crowd cheered on national and local athletes as they pushed themselves to the limits of ability.

Adding importance to this year’s event is the fact that the West Chester event was the ninth of ten races in the USA CRITS Championship Series, making it one of the last opportunities for riders to protect or improve their standings before the final invitational.
The action begins and ends at the intersection of Gay and High Streets, home of the title sponsor Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant.
About the route:
The Iron Hill Twilight Criterium is a 0.6-mile course over 8 city blocks on the streets of historic downtown West Chester, Pennsylvania, featuring four 90 degree turns and one short rise.
The Start/Finish Line is next to the Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant, the title sponsor, at the intersection of Gay and High Streets.

For my A2 coursework project with Women in Islam and Islamic pattern I did alot of printing as it is one of the most popular ways pattern was transferred onto fabric. I experimented with relief printing on paper and fabric and I found this to be very effective in producing repeated pattern from a single motif. This idea of printing on fabric had lead me to creating fabric-like surfaces and pattern in plaster later in the project.

Hurray, my new squeegee arrived. Having an aluminium handle makes keeping it clean a lot easier. And the blade can be replaced easily as well.
Here I am printing the second colour on the 'pink' prints. It is pure Cadmium Red Deep. I let the previous colour dry overnight before printing on it again.
