finally getting around to uploading these photos of our new(ish) printer - a Xerox Phaser 8560.

Been umming and erring about which photo to pick today, but think this was probably the coolest thing I saw today at dev8d - a printer that can 'print' objects from plastic.

Unpacking my UP! 3D printer and first testdrive.

Yup, I just had to have them. Separately. Sometimes I bring the scanner with me when I need to scan a lot of documents for work. As a journalist, I work with lots of documents that are yet to be digitized. The beauty of using Linux is that old hardware can still work perfectly. Plug and play. Epson printer (can't see what model) that has a continuous ink tank and next to it is a Canon CanoScan Lide 25. I have to tame the wires at the back.
