High-speed roll-to-roll printing allows processing of as many square meters of polymer solar cells in one hour as a crystalline Silicon solar cell plant produces in one year. 8.760 times faster production.

In the early 1950s my father at left in photo, wearing tee shirt and apron, was an apprentice printer (a printer's devil)..he became a journeyman and then master printer. He worked as a printer for the New York Post from 1956 until he retired in 1986
Printer's Devil
It is a belief among printers that a special devil haunted every print shop, performing mischief such as inverting type, misspelling words or removing entire lines of completed type. The apprentice became a substitute source of blame and came to be called a printer's devil by association.

Bought a printer today. Some genius decided there was no need to include a USB cable, and no need to label the box "USB cable sold separately". But I found one in my tangle of orphan cords, and printed some stuff.

At most places where I've worked the printer is place high up. At one office there was a step stool available for people as short as me. Usually, however, this is my view.
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's first "Radiation Printer", circa 1964. It got its name from its manufacturer, Radiation, Inc., of Melbourne, Florida. It was based on an electrographic printing technology, and utilized huge rolls of paper weighing more than 200 pounds.
