This is actually not a linocut but I don't make that many collagraphs so decided to stick it under this category. It is printed on mulberry paper, 3 layers -- first the body, then the wing membrane and finally the wink skeleton.
Approximately 2x3 feet. Edition of 5.

There was ink left on the plate after I did the previous print (Reeds). So, I re-worked the 5x7 glass plate by wiping areas with a cotton swab, scratching out some fine white lines with a pencil, and blotting some ink off the plate with a paper towel. I then printed it onto inkjet paper.
Did a test print using a standard laser jet print out with acetone. My brother flickr.com/rayuen did the drawing.
Process:
1. Reverse image
2. Print out
3. Place image face down on surface
4. Tape edges
5. Use paint brush and apply acetone
6. Rub with a round, hard object. I used the handle of a screwdriver.
