This was such a colorful photo: painted faces, princess dresses, adorned in colorful jewelry and smiles. It was just calling, "black and white" to me. I don't know why, but I love it this way.
This is from another birthday party, hosted by the same mother as the photo from my previous post. She throws the best parties and all in attendance get to let their princess selves shine.
I am way behind in my posts, but BIG changes going on over here so I am going with the flow the best I can. Who's counting anyway, right? ;-)
Day 8
Can someone take me somewhere where I can dress up in a nice gown with a nice hairdo and these royal earrings, please!!!
Handmade earhooks and amethyst beads, both smooth and facetted. 14k gold filled wire and tiny vermeil beads. The two briolettes almost glow in the dark!!!
Two little girls, one likes princesses and flowers, the other horses and bugs.
The challenge was to create a neutral environment which would appeal to them both.
Watercolor paintings decoupaged with floral heart frames and heart shaped texts on vanilla walls gives a perfect compromise.

So she got new Yarn Hair.

I hope it will look more natural after that.
Mom and kittens (except one) were fixed on Friday, so yesterday 4 of them moved out into their new homes. Princess herself will be returning to her home tomorrow. She lives in a backyard where she is well cared-for. We will be donating an outdoor shelter and other supplies to make her life as easy as possible. We had assumed she would 'tame down' during her time with us but she has steadfastly refused to like us even a little bit. She hisses and growls at us even when we come to fill the food bowls. But she is reportedly nice to her human caretakers, so I guess she's just picky.
