Nell's precious pet pot-belly pig; she's my barnyard nemesis. Years ago, when she was lighter on her feet, she managed catch me unawares and got her mouth around my ankle (by turning her head sideways – who knew pigs have necks?) and chomped down. I'm sure she was jealous of Kanella paying attention to me instead of to her magnificent self.
She usually chases me (well, more a 'follow' than chase) around the barnyard, looking for another chance munch my leg, but this Sunday she didn't even raise her back hair at me – perhaps she was too busy posing for the camera!
I've always had a fascination with charm bracelets. I love them. My grandmother has one, and she always jingles as she goes. It's a very sweet sound.
This one is made of brass fishing swivels connected with double jump rings, and contains 24 vintage and new brass and gold plated charms, including a small locket.
The bracelet measures 8 inches in length, and closes with an antiqued brass claw clasp. And it jingles when you walk.
THIS is especially for CPK GIRL ~
LAUREN is a very special flickr member, who has brought fun, life, and a lot of sweetness to all who are her contacts / friends ...
We are all SO GLAD she is here!
So, Here, of course HOLLISTER volunteered to be THE Princess ...
She is wearing her Barbie Mattel MILLENNIUM PRINCESS Ballgown ... almost Vintage Now ... from 2000 ... 12 years ago!
This ballgown was originally a deep shade of royal blue velvet, but through the years (and admittedly 'bad storage' ...) parts of it have faded ...
Barbie also came with the little "keepsake ornament", which Hollister is holding ...
Her TIARA is actually a NAPKIN RING, found at Hobby Lobby ~ Set of 4 for $10.! GREAT deal ... they are real rhinestones ... FOUND in the Wedding aisle :)

A series of macro shots that was partial stress therapy for a bad session of film shots I took a week ago.
This series has also been processed with my upcoming Lightroom film simulation called 'NatGeo'. More testing and soon to be released to the public.

This plumie is called "Princess Victoria" which is known for it's color breaks...
This plumie grows like a weed and to tell you the truth i am tempted to give away some of my trees of the PV.
Without the breaks she is just another pink plumie and i have way too many of them lol..
It's tough being a princess, but as they say, someone has to do it. Thanks for the photo, @susiepops!
So awesome! Someone needs to interview the little girl who made this and ask her why princesses are for Obama.
Princess Elizabeth arrived on Monday afternoon after being dragged through York backwards by L94, a very rare sight!

Father & Daughter Cinderella Princess Ball on June, 14, at Armstrong's Club - Vogelweh Housing, Bldg. 1036.
This crown I whipped up in 3 days as a last minute present for a little girl who loves princesses and dressing up. The crochet front of the crown was simple to make (I just made it up as I went), I then added sequins, sewed on pipe cleaners to the back to give it shape and enable it to be bent to fit, and finished it off with some ribbon to tie and pink felt to hide all the mess at the back. Phew!
