Sophie attended a birthday party for a classmate with a princess & knight theme. We all had a ball, and enjoyed getting to know birthday princess' parents.

Student Description: This picture was taken at the community school for poor children. I was sharing my sunglasses with the girls and having an amazing time singing, dancing and running with the girls.
Princess took a spill off her new bike and gashed herself just below her right knee.
Oh, the gory stuff is coming soon enough.

This is one of the most beautiful statues I have ever seen. It is call Canyon Princess and stands in the Gaylord Exhibit Wing of the National Cowboy and Heritage Museum. It features a female cougar that was sculpted by artist Gerald Balciar. It was sculpted from a single 31-ton block of Colorado Marble that stands some 15-feet above its base and weighs more than 8-tons.
“THE WARRIOR PRINCESS”
(acrylic on canvas/100x100/2011)
Do not tell me that I am beautiful; first take time, to discover the sensitivity and depth of my heart and my soul….and only then, I will believe you when you tell me that I am beautiful….
"Beauty, is that which attracts your soul, and that which loves to give and not to receive. When you meet Beauty, you feel that the hands deep within your inner self are stretched forth to bring her into the domain of your heart. It is the magnificence combined of sorrow and joy; it is the unseen which you see, and the Vague which you understand, and the Mute which you hear; it is the Holy of Holies that begins in yourself and ends vastly beyond your earthly imagination…
I would not exchange the sorrows of my heart,
for the joys of the multitude.
And I would not have the tears that sadness makes,
To flow from my every part turn into laughter.
I would that my life remain a tear and a smile…
A tear, to purify my heart and give me understanding,
of life's secrets and hidden things.
A smile, to draw me right to those of my kind and,
to be a symbol of my glorification of the gods.
A tear, to unite me with those of broken heart and pain;
A smile, to be a sign of my joy in existence”….

Also known as empress tree and royal paulownia, princess tree produces attractive flowers and very large leaves that make it a popular ornamental species. Fast-growing and able to thrive in poor soil, princess tree invades roadsides, stream banks, forest edges, and other disturbed areas. It is seen here in Henderson County, North Carolina.
