I saw this pretty pink flower at Hatfield Park, a few weeks ago but haven't got round to posting it before. I felt my feed was looking a bit orange lately...normal service is resumed ;)

I couldn't really tell what colour these tulips were when I picked them up at the store, they were still closed so tightly that colour wasn't peeking through.

Turns out I made a good choice with my pick. I really like the soft pinks these turned out to be.

... or maybe they're plum blossoms. We've been waiting several weeks for signs of these pink blossoms appearing. The trees are starting to turn a little red from a distance. When you get a bit closer, the tiny buds are there. It's fun to catch them so early in the season.

One of my all time favorite movies is Pretty in Pink... nothing like an 80's movie!

This little piggy is a new years‘ eve lucky charme - together with clover 4 and chimney sweepers (btw whenever a chimney sweeper comes along one should try to touch him for good luck).

This ones oinks when you squeeze it.

Bringing in my other passion - ballet - to try out the high key technique.

Having missed the last 10 weeks through illness, I feel I'm very much out of practice with creating this type of image, but I hope it's like a muscle that just needs to be flexed. Anyway, it's wonderful to be able to use my camera again.

Crazy Tuesday - Footwear

Sorry, same old, same old from me with another flat lay.

I do try to think of something different although it's quite difficult at the moment as we are still testing positive so still isolating. It's a good job I have a never ending prop stash. The little vintage book is from a market in Berlin, the tickets from a trip to Nantucket during a holiday in Cape Cod. Oh, and my lovely dead roses making yet another appearance. All displayed on a scarf that my daughter-in-law gave me to use in my still life photos. HCT
