Geranium-laden windows like this are common in nearby Alsace FR. IMO they are especially charming in Alsace's old half-timbered (à colombages) homes like the one captured here.

FWIW - My caption commemorates the 35th anniversary of the film "Pretty in Pink" (link below). It is a 1986 USA cult-classic romantic comedy-drama. The film is about love and social cliques in American high schools in the 1980s. It especially resonated with me (and still does) because in 1986, my kids were 20, 17 and 15. (BTW, they were good kids and became really nice grownups. That's to their credit, not mine.)

#14 in my 100 x challenge - monochrome

I took a photo of a reed diffuser a couple of weeks ago but have made this one more simple and uncluttered...I have to make the most of my props...all is fair in a 365 ;)

At this point in time, Spring Tulips are so much better than more snow, which is falling here at this moment in time!!!

Potentilla 'Miss Wilmott' in my garden in Wigan, Lancs. They're very pretty but the devil to get a good photo of! The petals are very reflective so they always get overexposed unless you deliberately underexpose and edit later to restore the proper colour (I didn't just tell you that :)) I got in close to blur the peals and focus your eye on the centre of the flower
