I've been fighting off the flu for the past few days. Typical flu symptoms - my head just isn't working right. At least 3 times in the shower this morning, I lost track of what I was doing!! lol.. A problemo... ;-))
But when I was having coffee this morning and saw "Pretty in Pink" as the theme for our group, I HAD to do something. You see, my favorite color is pink!! And lavender. And I have pink stuff all over the place.
Sooo... I took this pic this morning. Hope you like! Can't wait to see everyone's pink pics.💘 :-) Not sure how long I'm gonna last today, but I'll do my best.

p.s. 1/20/2018 For this shot, I used only artificial lighting. I had each of the 7 LED bulbs set to a different color. You can see all the different colors in the reflections.

While walking along a trail in the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park the other day, I noticed these flowers growing a few yards up a bank.
It's been wet & gloomy here in Ottawa, not much snow, not much sun, so I needed some cheering up with this beautiful, mauve Azalea shrub. I hope its beauty also uplifts your spirits.

My original Earth Day didn't pan out so much, I usually like to get outside and find a bit of growth to show off macro style but the wind was making that a struggle today.
So, on to plan B.
The petals from the tulips I shot yesterday has started to wilt and fall by this morning so I figured why not make use of the mess for one final photo of the pretty pink tulips.
Hope everyone is well and has had a lovely Earth day. I'm pretty sure that no matter how uncomfortable or frustrated some are with the current stay home orders, Mother Nature is really pleased with this turn of events.
